  1. Although I predict many years to exciting motoring in the ISF...... When it's time to switch the obvious choice (being loyal to Lexus) would be the GSF...right? I would like another F car and it needs to have 4 doors. I'm interested to get an opinion from fellow ISF drivers, maybe it will grow on me but I'm not 100% on the GSF design/style so far compared to the ISF. I think the RCF looks stunning but it's not practical for me.
  2. I'm 5 months in and the car makes me smile everytime I get in. I opted for peace of mind with the lexus warranty (probably won't be needed) and discounted 2yr service package. I travel a short distance to work so my average mpg is about 20, don't get near a motorway to get the mpg up! Looking forward to giving the ISF a good run down to Cornwall next week!
  3. Not experienced that in the ISF as yet but I'm sure the old IS250 on a couple of occasions felt less precise on the motorway. Maybe it was cross wind but worth checking out if it continues.
  4. Will have to leave by 1pm but I'll be there!
  5. I'm trying to change my plans for the 13th, all being well I should be there.
  6. @DT_Racing I have 245/35 R19 93Y on front. Hankook Venous S1 evo. 275/30 R19 96Y on back. Vredstein Ultrac Vorti.
  7. Shame..... Can't make the 13th. Will try and join a Midlands meet!
  8. Daily drive for me, although I work very close to where I live and only rack up 6,000 each year. Would find it too depressing to have a run around diesel for the commute, knowing that the ISF is on my driveway but I understand your dilemma!
  9. @DT_Racing I would be interested in the USRS's if there's a decent saving on a group buy! Keep us posted. I appreciate all your research! Thanks
  10. I'm often contemplating a nose job for the ISF but it's difficult to know how to do it tastefully. Love the back/sides but sometimes feel the front looks bland (excluding the bonnet bulge) in certain angles. It was even more an issue with my old IS250. Wouldnt consider any major changes but I would be interested to hear of of any tweaks that could improve this.
  11. @Stuno1 Definitely up for it....Just checking on the dates! Come back to you shortly!
  12. I thought this topic was likely to result in some pretty sad replies. It has. If you can afford it cash or 100% finance doesn't matter......
  13. Thanks Peter, very useful information. Agreed, the car has a firm ride but this doesn't bother me and I find it acceptable compared to the other cars I have driven. I haven't got any intentions (at the moment) to upgrade the springs so want to be sure this upgrade wouldn't make the ride too harsh on the current stock setup. Will check with Lexus on the warranty. Thanks again.
  14. @DT_RacingI would certainly be interested in these as long as it wouldn't effect the Lexus warranty I took out in Feb. @Peter P18 can I ask if it affects the ride at all (firmer) or just improves the feel?
  15. Hi Dave, I recently had an MOT fail due to inner wear on the fronts, although the tyres had plenty of life elsewhere. Seems like it's a common problem. Any ideas of the fitting cost of USRS 's and if it would invalidate the Lexus warranty?
  16. So..... Installed the Grom Bt3 today and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm not controlling my Amazon music from the steering wheel controls. Thanks for the suggestion piasek. OK it's nothing flash......the vaistech did appeal but it's solved the problem and the sound quality is good. Install was fairly straight forward, only issue is working behind the navigation on the cables as it's quite heavy!
  17. There are conversion kits available on eBay.com which I think are oem, but there aren't cheap, plus postage from the US. Other cheap replicas available but wouldn't trust those. Recently there was a 2008 on AT with the DRL conversion, so yes it must be possible....but.... it has been debated on here that owners have generally preferred the adaptive headlights. I have considered it like you but currently not wanting to spend £1200+ on that aesthetic mod.
  18. Just ordered myself the Grom, will let you know how it goes!
  19. Looks like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GU1NYN8/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_dFrkxbMF91W7M Quite liked the idea of using Google maps, you tube etc on the nav screen but it's three times the price. This should do the job!
  20. Thanks for the alternative suggestion. Although I prefer the features of the Vaistech, £109 with good reviews on Amazon could be easily the best solution. Tempted to order myself one and see how it goes.
  21. Currently using a cheap Bluetooth contraption to stream music from my phone to the AUX. It does the job OK but temperamental and have to change tracks by a separate button. I've seen this system http://www.vaistech.com/site/iVIC-droid.php which looks neat and allows full control from the steeling wheel. Not an issue for the newer ISF's (with ipad integration) but wondered what others are running or if anyone has knowledge of the Vais systems.
  22. That's roughly what I'm paying plus a little extra for registering the tyre sizes for being slightly bigger than original spec. Also helped when bringing the car back from Ireland under VIN insurance, can't complain with the service.
  23. Hi Mike, the car looks fantastic, great colour! You will soon build confidence as you get to know the car. I'm 2 months in and loving it.
