  1. Get her a gift on the way back to make up for it, maybe something from the services for guaranteed brownie points...
  2. I've used similar products such as dragons breath (spray) which turns the wheels purple as it attacks the grime. Very interested in the gel paste, great tip! My car was professionally detailed and clay bar'd mid December which included the wheels. They looked amazing but now the grime has returned, darn you oem dust.....
  3. Looking good, like the black, I still have a black hps pipe and toms drop in filter to install when/if I find the time. I think you said it was pretty straight forward?
  4. Same here, as soon as you start looking for your first car/s friends and family would normally advise to look for low mileage and 20 years ago 100,000 probably was old age for an engine. I would find it difficult to buy for this reason alone which is purely psychological. I've always sold my cars before 100,000, thinking a buyer will have the same ideas.
  5. New territory for the ISF at this price range. High mileage but with full service history she should have plenty of life.. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201702182453917?atmobcid=soc3
  6. Is it feasible that certain tracks will suit certain cars? If it's got a fair amount of power upto 5,000rpm, thanks to the turbo, it might do OK in the slower parts of a track and keep up with the F.
  7. I think this is it @Mark G
  8. Its 0-60 is 5.4 seconds, but I assume the BMW has a LSD? Shows the difference it makes on the track. Sorry 335is is 4.6 0-60. Above is 335i sport line.
  9. Interesting lap times, big difference between the 2008 and 2011 due to the LSD.....
  10. I've liked the look of most Toms kits, high quality parts and tasteful IMO.
  11. When Admiral customers stop adding custom wheels to their 'unmodified' super saloons, which has flooded the market with isf wheels 😉, they will have to barter with 🐀, or pay Lexus £1,400.
  12. More modern F styling, lovely seats, funky dials etc. but as a driving machine....no better performance for the extra £20k (currently). Oh and you get a discerning analogue clock rather than our 1990's digital.
  13. I don't think that's the best move for your career lol 😁. Stick it to your lawnmower if the force you 😉
  14. I would agree, buyers at 30k plus might be tempted by the newer looking RCF for another 7-8k. Buyer for the 2011+ ISF's could be an ISF lover with a 2008 wanting to upgrade to a younger model.
  15. 😁....Don't get a grey, it's easier to get the black, vigorously rub with a scourer for two hours then...voila.
  16. Haven't seen anything myself, sorry. Often flick through AT, ebay etc out of curiosity. First time in a long time there's been a good selection of ISF's and colours to choose from. Unfortunately for you, no white at the moment. I know a member from here was selling a while ago with 100k miles +, perhaps it was that one you missed. You'll probably end up buying silver after some input from certain members on here.....😉. Good luck on the search.
  17. But the CCS-R is a bargain at $200,000 + import, think of the saving @Mark G
  18. Good point, but I'm a fan of oem, most of the time 😉
  19. Great thanks. Yeah agree, they're not far off, I would say yours look a little lighter. Might bring one to the midlands meet and compare to a car with oem. Will give me some company for the drive up lol 😁
  20. Great to have the write up on the F, and some useful info, but don't like those wheels 😔
  21. Thanks @Warrington guy good to know they are close to OEM which is what I'd hoped. 👍
  22. Cadoxton slate with these darker, closer to oem wheels, might require a splash of colour to the calipers one day to create some contrast... 😉
  23. Thank Paul 🐀, actually think they don't look far off after seeing your photos. The seller is going to send me the paint codes and paint technique for future use. I will share on here once I have them. I really like these wheels but would be tempted to switch if these newer oem isf wheels if ever came up...
