  1. Yeah not a bad little touch , had mine for a while....
  2. Would love the special edition bits, as it's OEM! Although I don't have enough spare yen 💴 in my account 😉 , even if I could locate the parts. There was some reference on the US forum to the diffuser being $6,000!!!! The only easily found part is the oem red shifter which is on ebay, but that's naff on its own.
  3. Didn't know they released this..... https://lexusenthusiast.com/2013/09/05/special-edition-2014-lexus-is-f-now-available-in-japan/
  4. .....and how is the activity on the Oman ISF forum? 😁
  5. Great find @Big Rat one more for the party.....
  6. Wow wasn't that bad, the previous owner (from this forum) assumed the tyres were fine based on the outer and inner tread, as did I when I collected the car. He missed it, I missed it, Lexus missed it but Halfords MOT found it 😁 😁. Now I have lots of tyres, 4 x summer, 4 x winter. I haven't noticed any inner wear but I'm only pottering around my village most of the time doing 30. If I notice the wear again these USRS could be well worth the spend.
  7. Silvers are known to track truer @Big Rat 😉, British airways are about to paint their entire fleet silver as their Spain flights keep ending up in Portugal 😁....
  8. When I got my car it went straight to Lexus for a health check, MOT and warranty. Lexus missed it!!??? (concerning) but both front tyres had worn on the inside and we're MOT failures. The rest of the tyre/s had loads of tread.
  9. True, good point, forgot about the tyre wear. I would be on the maybe list for a group but probably later this year.
  10. Congrats on the purchase Paul. Consumables for the car are pretty fair in my opinion. Buy the pads/discs when on offer at euro car parts etc, crazy to pay the dealership prices. Tyres are pretty reasonable.....£130 a corner for something like Hankook, upto £200 + for Michelin. Hope to see you at some of the upcoming meets. The forum can go off piste occasionally (I'm guilty) but a good bunch..
  11. No not too bad and I'm sure there could be a decent saving on the $60/70 shipping if group buy. I'm unsure about the mod.....Better driving feel vs potentially harder ride.
  12. Currently $419 delivered on their website.
  13. Was thinking about it but the price shot up post brexitx vote and it didn't really move on from there. Also a consideration that it would make the ride a tad harder, I didn't take it further. Would be worth looking at the prices though out of interest.
  14. Good idea but I'm more likely to stick with oem after much research, unless I find a good quality aftermarket. Our cars are heavy and standard alloys are going to be prone to damage.
  15. Reward paid in cake or sterling for a successful introduction to these rare beauties...... or any ISF wheels tbh. Looked at the Weds Sports options but its a headache to work out the offset/slightly larger sizes etc.
  16. Was worth a try, the search will continue, thanks for the detailed 'F' pics....... I will persevere.....
  17. Called the dealer today and the salesman said that the wheels are original to the car, so no battered 2013 wheels to buy
  18. I tried Bridgestone Blizzaks this winter and although I can't make a comparison....will be compelled to try Michelin or continental next winter.
  19. The wheel shape is designed to help cool the brakes. Personally, I think that unless you were driving your car extremely hard you wouldn't notice it much. If the tyres themselves were fitted the wrong way then that's a different matter and you might notice handling problems. I've found my Bridgestone Winter Tyres twitchy in the wet but only my first winter with the F so can't make a fair comparison until next winter.
  20. You've got to have a little passion about what you do, or its the managers job to instill some into the employees. I was never big on cake but you chaps and the AV8 have turned me into a lover not a hater.
  21. Lack of passion for the Cars/brand, just all about the money. I've never had a Lexus employee show any enthusiasm for their cars which is a bit sad. Surely day one for all employees should be to know their product.....same with any sales job.
  22. My favourites are..... House in popular (this means cr@p) location, viewing highly recommended (well of course you would)....😁 😁
  23. I have to say that colour does show off the ISF's curves better than most....
  24. Yeah, think you're right 🐀.... Rather worrying tbh. But I will give them a ring see if they have some battered 2013 wheels they would like to off load! 👍
  25. Interesting they call them mesh style alloys, they aren't......
