  1. Congratulations Nick, welcome back. Look forward to seeing some pics of the new car. 👍
  2. Yep, I've had the seat belt tension a few times. Once, a car came across slightly onto my side of the road, heading in the opposite direction, so a near miss, Clever stuff the radar tech.
  3. Previously I've looked into Induction kits, exhaust etc but decided to hang fire for now and happy with the noise from the car at present. 30mph is non eventful but 40mph +, I find there can be some fun to be had on certain roads. No doubt I will give in to the exhaust or Induction at some point but happy with the stock and shell v power at the moment. If you're not satisfied @Flytvr here's something just for you... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stern-Schatz-GmbH-SR0101V8AA-SoundRacer/dp/B004CK587E 😁 😁
  4. Thanks for the messages, have now agreed a price for the pair.
  5. Like 👍 this video! Very funny, did well to survive that fall....
  6. Will try again later with the external mic and fluffy things! Yeah the speedo thingy is quite good. 👍
  7. Will try again later with the external mic and fluffy things! Yeah the speedo thingy is quite good. 👍
  8. Oops privacy settings were wrong. Sorted now
  9. Getting to grips with the new TomTom Bandit ready for the Blat...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDB2vJ2ir2k&feature=youtu.be Needs to try the external fluffy mic but liking it so far.
  10. All those vibrations, you can understand the fuse popped out 😉. Good news it's all sorted! 👍
  11. Would always have it Lexus serviced, the service plans aren't too bad. Does it have to be serviced by the same dealership you buy the warranty from, I assume not?
  12. It's very good and must show their confidence in the build quality of all their cars.
  13. Obviously they will try their luck initially to get big prices, they will come down unless someone's desperate for the parts.
  14. Anyone interested in this mod, drop me a message. I bought the intake pipe from a member on here a few months back (complete with all clips and he had only trial fitted to his car briefly). I purchased the Toms drop in filter new from garage whifbitz. Has never been fitted to my car, still in the box. I've just decided against this mod. Mark.
  15. Chances are, the warranty wouldn't be needed but it's the potential £3-4k + bills, like Flytvr had, which would really hurt. As you say, it would tarnish the ownership experience. With the warranty, it's giving me the "new car peace of mind" feeling which I like.
  16. I would be very nervous driving without the warranty and would probably make me switch early. It runs out Feb 2018, hopefully Lexus will offer a further year or two, otherwise maybe an alternative warranty supplier until the right F comes up!
  17. Suspension doesn't bother me, don't know what all the fuss is about. I might call Lexus and ask about the warranty past 10 years. Even putting aside alot of money, if something big goes on a car like this, it won't cover it. Chances are it would be fine but I'm risk averse.
  18. A couple of owners have now told me that they have the warranty ending after the ten year birthday, @Chuckie478 was one of them. So, could be possible to add the warranty for another 2 years to Feb 2020 for me. If not, might make me sell or upgrade to a newer ISF. Warranty Wise is expensive, £800+ per year, last time I looked.
  19. Personally, can't really justify (or fancy) paying more than £25,000, so could largely depend on the rate the prices drop. Not many ISF's owners go past two/three years it seems.
  20. I've spent all my money on wheels so count me out, maybe 2019/2020...
  21. And....4 RCF'S below £40k. cheapest £35,750.
  22. Think it's pretty good but prone to freezing and needed to restart the car to reset. A bit of time to let the product de-bug it should be good.
  23. Yep, that's it. The GROM kit I have is £100 and does perfectly well for streaming music and allows track changing from the steering wheel. The other kits are a step up, the newest GROM still has a few bugs which are being ironed out but tempting for the future. As you say, keeps the oem look but massive improvement on the functionality etc. £300 would be a no brainer!
  24. Great to get an owners view, especially having come from an ISF. 👍
  25. Just curious, I hate wheels, they're round and horrible things.
