When was your last service Ben? Just curious as to the amount of time it took for the filter to get that dirty.

I've only seen 2 in my area, South Buckinghamshire over the last 2 years. Clocked a white one in 2009 but didn't know what it was at the time. Turned out to be a friends dad's car and was eventually sold to Nick who has recently posted on here (coming back to ISF). The ISF does do a great job at getting from A to B @Jgtcracer, very quickly, if required. ☺

I can see the main dealer ones ending up at auction. The smaller independents/privates will have to drop at some point.....

Tried again today with external mic under the hood, nice Induction/engine sound but too noisey on tick over, will try and position the mic at the back of the car next.

You know......as soon as a photo emerges of @Big Rat sipping from a can of Guinness, whilst sitting on the bonnet of his silver ISF, during Welsh Blat.... The title will be his.....

That would be the perfect solution for me, switchable exhaust between day to day driving and 'play time'. Only problem for me is that switchable exhaust would invalidate the warranty, at the moment not comfortable doing that.

Maybe you need a second opinion of its past being able to restore?

I still think a detailer could bring the car up to better finish, the chap I used for a detail and minor machine polish etc, does offer an extensive paint correction 3-4 days.

If you have an eye on resale, I would stick with one of the oem colours, maybe the very rare nebula grey would be an option? You could also see if in the flesh of you drive to the dealer. If you just want if for your enjoyment, just choose the colour you like the most and bugger anyone else 👍

We all made the silly mistake of buying cars which don't go wrong all that much which = not much maintenance to talk about. Unfortunately my Mrs has given me 1 out of 100 for my communication this month so it's bitter sweet.

Unfortunately the moving costs are coming out a tad more expensive than the exhaust at circa £17,000. That's before my commission, 🐀 's bar bill, Rusty's contract and Mark G's survey costs.

I think you have missed one option @Flytvr and an area I can help you with. Keep the car stock but move to an area located close to one of the best driving roads in the UK.
