    I'm pleased if that's the case, was worried my stereo changes would be effected. In the states, some owners have moaned about collateral damage but maybe it's just a few isolated issues.

    If so, hundreds of thousands of cars are being sold illegally, so I guess not. Whether it's morally right to sell a car and not advise of a serious recall, that's another matter.

    Yes I see the 'business' behind this but they're playing with fire and people's lives. Maybe they haven't got enough £ to put everyone in hire cars but they have enough £ to move forward development and a solution much faster than this.

    Shocking news, in the USA Lexus were taking in customers cars and offering them long term rentals until a solution was found and resolved. How can it be one rule for the US market and another for UK /Europe!?!!! I'm going to be bold and say that in reality, we shouldn't be driving our cars....

    I have to say, that is very impressive, well done you! 👌. The best solution in my opinion which still blends in with sleeper nature of this car. If you could by this off the shelf, I would be sold!

    Surprised how easy the swap was, slide seat back, two bolts out. Slide seat forward, two bolts out. Disconnect battery and undo 3 connectors. Rear seats a little more fiddly but no drama. Maybe 2-3 hours in total. Yes old seats in stock.

    Time will tell how the colour holds up, obviously it will need plenty of tlc. The little person has been warned about 'daddy's new seats' and informed that santa 🎅 will not be coming to our house for at least a decade if those sticky mitts end up all over them.. 😂 (I jest).

    That's very kind of you monsieur 🐀, but already ordered a load off eBay, they all seemed pretty brittle so will change them all. McDonalds...... never heard of it 😂

    Right place at the right time, I landed some mint condition cream isf seats off a much younger car. Took the decision to swap them over. I think the colour works very well with the grey paintwork and really lifts the interior...

    Can we call it two of those crappy cover clips, which are about 60p (plus the burger) , I broke two of them getting the cover off 😂
