Obviously if you have a younger ISF, the cost to step up to a more modern looking F car is much less, maybe £10k and more justifiable. The ISF, RCF and GSF 0-60 times are pretty much the same.

Yep driven both within 30 mins of each other. Cheapest 2008 ISF £15K, cheapest RCF 35k. I don't think I'd feel the £20k difference, in my opinion. I love Lexus but it would feel like a natural upgrade because the ISF is looking a bit old, rather than representing a considerable step up the ladder.

I wouldn't say it's night and day, an upgrade, sure, along with a much more modern interior. I do see it as an upgrade to a newer version rather than a considerable step up. Currently 20k on top of the ISF is alot for a visual upgrade.

What a nightmare! I did indeed have some light damage to my bumper, caught it on a dwarf wall as I was turning out of a driveway... .... Thinking these were mega bucks I was close to buying one used off eBay US, but most of these had minor damage too. So called Lexus, it was about £260 ish and took 2-3 days for them to order it in, no surprise it wasn't in stock. Cost for paint was about £300 then £80 fitting by a trusted local bodyshop. My nearest Lexus dealer didn't have paint facilities but wanted £210 + just to fit it!!! . As my damage was light, I only needed the plastic bumper, all the other bumper parts (jet washers, number plate trim etc) were transferred onto the new bumper. It was an expensive mistake but I was surprised at the sensible oem bumper cost. Hope you manage to get it sorted Marcus.

I've seen plenty of reports (Facebook) of damage to the dash, following replacement of the airbag. Has anyone had this job done and experienced the same. Obviously it needs to be done but worth taking some photos before they start the work... 🤔

Having changed my seats, there is a surprising amount of flex in the seat rails, far from rigid. I would say it's normal but interested to get other opinions.

When I got my isf the previous owner had the larger tyres fitted. Worried it would invalidate my insurance I called Admiral. They marked it down as non standard wheels or something similar and charged me £20. Maybe Costco panic about being held liable in the event of an accident, seems a bit OTT. Maybe @Rusty CrobarCan help, after making the change to wider tyres himself.
