    Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen this car, currently up for sale at VW in Blackburn. It's original reg is SV58 ODY but also had B12ENH, L10DJL and J11SFF.

    My water pump was replaced at the beginning of 2016. The previous owner was also an enthusiast and member of LOC and wanted it changed before I collected the car.

    I've been pondering an upgrade for a while and just wanted to put it out there if there are any genuine buyers looking for a nice example 2008. Get in touch if youre a serious looker, I'm looking for £15,500. Couple of months of warranty lefts, alloys refurbed 22nd Dec 2017. 80,000 miles. Rare alpine leather, like new. Service/mot booked for 1st Feb which I would have done if sold. Purchased from a fellow forum member in 2016.

    It does look sharp against certain colours but I appreciate it require some extra tlc to keep it looking its best.

    Fair enough, yes blue with black is very rare. I'm grey with white leather. Considering selling mine but the Dury is still out.... 🤔

    Having installed android auto in my car, it completely revolutionises the media, maps etc. In my opinion this is great news.

    Good idea but playing devils advocate, a theft like this is probably targeted...if they can't gain access using a scanner, would they they then try and enter the house? I'm thinking if the car is targeted and they want it that bad, let them have it, I don't want them in my house. Or are these opportunist? Interested to get views on this....

    This has been blown our of proportion, a simple typo as the poor chap just thought he was on Tinder rather than LOC and was looking for a rendezvous. "Here's mine, show me yours" "Any meets in the Birmingham area". "I'm new to this all, I'll take a photo of IT later".

    *****, this person try's to make a positive out of everything. I imagine any stone chips with make the car lighter and improve the power to weight ratio and maybe a car with no service history is great because you have peace of mind that nobody else has touched the engine and it's a blank canvas. Probably an ex estate agent 😂
