  1. Hi all, just picked up a 03 is200 sportcross, decent history, full mot, needs a little tlc, but is presentable, needed a hatch/estate, was looking at skoda vrs, mgztt, but this came up and it was well priced, so it came home with me. Its comfy, surefooted, surprisingly rattle and squeak free for a 134k car, would say brisk rather than quick, [recently sold my 260bhp saab hot aero estate, so maybe a bit spoiled], its a manual, has everything you could need, and a sunroof, but no cruise control, which was a surprise, has a couple of little jobs I will want to sort, the clutch pedal seems very high, although its not slipping, not sure if it can be adjusted or if its just because it its age/mileage, been quoted £380 for a new clutch, can feel a bit a shunt through the drivetrain when you come off the throttle, and there is a judder when you brake at around 60, doesn't do it at slower or higher speeds, discs look new and are not lipped, have done a bit of reading and wonder if its a control arm bush, has scuffs on 3 of the 4 corners of the bumpers which need flashing in, and a good clean, and is due a service, although its fully stamped up to 125k and has had the timing belt done, new goodyear tyres allround too, so a bit to keep me busy, but for the price, very pleased cheers for now Hammie
