    Yes your right each to his own iits only my personal preference ,on the fuels and additives same as polish and wheel cleaners we all have our favorites. Guy near me with vauxhall astra dpf problems i helped clean the thing out not very nice. asked what i would do and told him 50mph 4th gear cataclean in run for 30 minutes then give it some beans, when we took it back off it was like a new one.

    I know from experience on a petrol engine cataclean works wonders, mechanics at work with diesels also use before mots. It cleans the system right through with a spotless exhaust, i know its supposed to be done quarterly but for 54 quid a year for a smoother running engine must be worth it. I have run cars on shell v thought it was rubbish to be honest all hype for no gain. I run mine on Bp supreme. Never have issues with any bad running never use asda tesco or morrisons fuel too many issues. Texaco fuel is also pretty good but i get best mpg out of bp easily and no i dont work for them i work in a bus yard.

    I can get a set for about 450.00 brand new, the reason i ask my brother in law has a avensis on a 54 plate his wheels look as good as new. Would it pay to coat them with some Gtechniq c5 or similar product from the start.

    As above thinking of changing all mine for the same 10 spoke from a dealer, what i would like to know did they ever resolve the rubbish paint job on them. I will then use mine for the winter tyres i have purchased as they are marked and blistered.

    Cataclean works wonders for 13 quid nothing wrong with good old redex either.

    I have been with them 9 yrs and in august i will not be with them, i would not recommend them to my worst enermy. I had a car written off 2 yrs ago tree squashed the car while at a funeral, from start to getting payed out was one knightmare after another, then the cheeky b******* put a mark against me with protected no claims, i informed them i will pursue it further then they removed it. And as stated above outcome the same i was doing the work i pay them for an absoloute shower of you know what.

    Lv are the worst insurance going , when claims go in they treat you like an idiot i have just had them chasing a no blame claim out come nothing.

    Yes best way that mate had a night mare job recently we all want them doing now, this is what happens when people cant be bothered to spend a little time twice a year greasing parts up and making sure every thing works as is.

    They are only cast parts so treat with the upmost care, rome was not built in a day so be patient.

    Dont hit it with a bigger hammer trying spraying it with a release agent Wd etc,and let it soak in will it not twist at all.

    Pagid pads are very good pads for the price range used them on a few vehicles.

    Okey Dokey so when its in recycle tray flap lifts on its own so filter is in view and then resets itself.

    Is the pollen filter in a drop down in side of glove box? why does it have to go on recycle before changing never herd that one before.

    Was at work last night so missed it, they did have there funny moments at times, seemed like it had run its coarse under present management.

    Yes im lucky only small hands had a look on bay look like clips holding in place, maybe just me no vibrations only noticed when cleaning.

    As the tag states when cleaning car yesterday seems to be a bit of play in the lights, is this common or should i investigate further its both of them. Are they easy to get at does the black cover give any access or do i need to be underneath.
