I bought 2x dunlop 225 for the front and 2 x 235 michelin for the rear . As for grip in winter this will be my first in a rear wheel, drive for over 20 years.

Well its nice to know what prevented the problem, i am with you on oil changes i do 2 a year on all cars i own. I do short journeys mainly with a good run every now and then, i must say my oil is clean as a whistle at the moment, but wont stop me changing it when the time comes. People who say there is no need i say each to his own. As of engine flush used them but not any longer. Reason been oil will always be in the sump unless sucked out, as a lot of modern cars are done now. But its each to there own, and what works for you that really matters. On petrol they are not all the same, some add adatives some dont, never ever put tesco morrisons etc in my cars. That is just me and not knocking those who do, like i say what works for you is all that matters. My mate next door swears by redex, and i have used this myself an old favorite. Been around since the ark.

Just a thought being reading what normski uses, seems like most people have a favourite. And if it works as well then its a bonus. I have been using cataclean for about 5 years, gives them a good clean out for about 13 pounds. I use it twice a year they advise every quarter.

Do you give the car the beans at all, they need a clearout now and again.

Normski do you get any gains from the product,best cleaner i used is cataclean. As of shelL v power dont rate the stuff myself, less mpg no real gains. Best fuel i used and always go back to is 98 ron Bp. Best Mpg and value per buck as they say.

As above has any one fitted one, was it easy is there something better out there. Did it stiffen the rear end, are they adjustable.

Right started car to come home noise there again. Tapped front parking sensors all quiet all the way home so water is the problem. Are they easy to remove.

It does not do it all the time came home from work and nothing at all. It is hard to discribe when i go to work tonight it will be dry see if its only doing it when its wet. If it is then i am narrowing it down its a bloody annoying sound can be herd over stereo.

I have had this problem since owning car, the best way to discribe it at the moment. Its a fast pulsating noise, now we had a bad downfall of rain yesterday, could it be a brake sensor when wet. It does it while driving and stood still, turning stearing wheel makes no difference.

You say tyres were 20.00 what was the delivery charge. Also what was the delivery time scale.

I used to have a code for Audi wheels, but have lost it better than the Lexus colour. %

Take the wheel off the car and lay it flat, then poor water on the outter edge to see if their is bubbles. It may be the valves?

Im on about the L on the caps so i can paint the caps a different colour.

They dont put glue on its a soap solution,to mount the tyre easier. I have had tyres lose pressure before but not to your extent. Having said that i have never known wheels corrode like lexus wheels.

Well nornski2 i got plastic tool under emblem only broke one clip, 5 holes in the cap only 2 are used. Think i will use some strong clear glue when i refit the emblems. Alredy wet and dried them with 1200 paper down to primer. Weathers not to good where we are, so will wait till it picks up a bit.

Thats the inner edge needs cleaning. whoever fitted your tyres should do this before fitting. If the wheels are that bad i would get them refurbed.

Yes it may be the route i try never thought about the centres, ordered gunmetal paint and centres will have to be done to look right.

It looks like 2 tabs are bent over , dont really fancy that idea. May have to use double sided tape, only problem then they wont be flush.
