  1. Well kit arrived today fitted led side light bulbs, also fitted h11 Hids engine management light came on as well as traction. Put scanner on and had 2 codes , erazed them and now all is fine. Must say very blue for 5000k look more like 6000k. I found offside harder than nearside, even thou i have small hands. Does any one know where i can purchase some more under bonnet clips.
  2. Yes cree are brilliant used them myself. I will buy a non cambus system, worst case bulb on dash i suppose.
  3. Its a mine field norm, my skoda was picky as hell with led bulbs. Looked on forum and utube does not state which was used, just where purchased.
  4. Renault 11s had a habit of doing that , and when passats first came out used to see loads on motorways with wheel under arch.
  5. When i first left school my boss had a laurel massive luxury car in its day, and even now.
  6. I must admit i love the look of the 460, but as you say the 400 was lexus first. So no cutting corners on fixtures and fittings.
  7. Just goes to show how well built they were, has not lost much horse power either.
  8. Very true words spoken Allan could not agree with you more.
  9. I agree totally where i live is a gold 460 looks the dogs dangleys. Certain cars look good in a few colours and rubbish in others.
  10. Beautiful got good presence and a colour to die for. Welcolm to the forum you are in good hands.
  11. Dont suppose it makes any difference, i believe mine is like yours. Not had a chance to use mine yet. If it says genuine toyota must be the right one. Well just checked mine 3 slots either side, made by sealy.
  12. Just received this today from america, ready for when i do spark plug change. A bit early only on 51000 miles, But at least when the time comes im not held up waiting for bits. Ordered on 26th august. Cost just short of £22.00 which included 3 rubber gaskets and 2 x card. Materials look 1st class i must say, tracking a bit behind last update was 14th september. Nothing on for today believe it or not and left on the doorstep. Think it was myhermes so nothing new there.
  13. Is the cap on the back on properly. Have herd of people drillig a little hole in the bottom, to let condensation out. has it only recently started.
  14. Technology went to far a long time ago. Some cars can only have oil drained out through the dipstick tube, they dont have a sump plug. The key issue is a mine field, like you say they should be able to programe a key. What i was refering to was no charge.
  15. AS pete says above named tyres means nothing , what may work on one make of car may be crap on ours. The best summer tyre would have arguements all day long. In winter we are not doing stupid speeds. I run junyu Winters every body hates them, bet they never tryied them. They all have same tread pattern on winters for a reason. They were not that much cheaper than named brands. And i certainly was not paying silly money, for something thats on the car for about 4 months. When there is no need to.
  16. As i understand a tyre is summer or winter. What does winter capability mean good down in the minuses, what about snow. Winter tyres are softer tread, and no good above 9 degrees or so. They move around a bit to much to say the least. Under 7 Degrees they are in another league. The grip they give is unbelievable and so quiet as well. I can only speak of my experience with a front wheel drive car. I bought the snows for these as soon as i was able. Guy at work with a 320 beemer runs winter tyres, and says the car is driveable.
  17. Yes an m3 i believe shoots up the hill in the snow.
