    Sat nav can not be retro fit , i bought a nav and found that out myself. On the nav is a whole bunch of wires, imagine something to do with rear camera as well.

    The locking and unlocking should be in the manual. yes i would of thought you should hear beeping, is there a cancel button near stearing wheel.

    I use padid myself, have used them on a few diffenent vehicles. And seem good value, Just replaced hand brake shoes yesterday with pagid.

    Have a look on utube plenty of these on there , i would agree that they are better than halogen. But halogen are crap lights compared to the latest . That includes led and cree , but they are unknown life span and are expensive.

    What cleaning solution was it ? I use Xs cleaning solution on coated sunglasses, i would just use wet wipes or the likes on screens.

    I use the cig lighter socket under the stereo and below the stearing wheel. Then up the pllar and head linining. I used the welding wire to pull the cable through.

    Nigel Farage lost a wheel while in france, in todays metro. Somebody loosened his wheel nuts ????

    Never lost any of mine, are they tightened enough? Think they do 16 .... 17 .... 18 mine are 17 on same year. I think somebody is undoing the nuts, reason been if they come loose they would not be layed near the car.

    I used a welding wire, which is thin long and flexible when i fitted mine. Took stereo out and went above steering wheel then up the pillar.

    What happens you get the car back for X amount, they then pay you the difference. Either way you have a no blame claim it stinks mate. You could come out better that way, cash and sell the car on.

    No your not, insurance companys are good at taking your cash but not at paying out.

    yes i used shell good oil, but any fully syth 5 w 30 oil would be as good. Mobil 1 is a good one as is Vw low saps. Im going for Mercedes on my next oil change, 20 Litre 60.00 a bargain. And will allow for 3 oil changes @ 20.00 each and new filters of coarse.

    yes should be able to tell you what codes come up.And also tell you the problem.

    Its a get you home mode.you need some body with a machine to read the codes. Try taking battery negative lead off, for half an hour and see if it clears itself.
