    Cable is the same just rerouted different from power point. Goes the same up the drivers door and head lining to mirror.

    When i bought mine radio was brilliant on fm. Fitted car camera was rubbish there after, rerouted the car camera cable and reception is brilliant again??

    Thats exellent well done you, cant beat free repairs. Interesting on the jag never liked them myself. Owned bmw terrible money pits and over rated.

    I believe rears should be 255 40 18 .......... 225 40 18 front . But if your happy with how it handles that fine. All sizes are on back of the wheel, Cb 60.1 .... 8J etc which is wheel width ....... and rim size.

    The original wheels are only 8j - 225 45 17 front 245 45 17 rears

    Yes a special tool is required, i bought a sealey one for about 12.00

    Looking at some 18 x 8 et 40 wheels, says they will fit the car. What size tyres will be needed front and rear to look right.

    Would think around the 600.00 mark, would have to paint more to blend the colour in.

    Just get an after market stainless fitted, they dont have to be loud .

    Thats terrible Eric this forum is good, and briskoda forum is a brilliant forum as well. Very nice informative people who know there stuff. Their atitude is strange to say the least. Big cars equals big bills i agree to an extent. But if they are fully serviced before you recieve them, you expect them further down the line.

    No tramling on mine, also an ex front drive man Skoda Vrs which are prone to saw tooth. I run Falken 914s on the rear 245 45 17s. On the front im running 225 45 17 Bridgestone Potenza S001s, car runs a dream. Road noise is very quiet and grip is exellent, I think the handling is good but is different to the front drive cars.Think its down to no torque steer, somebody else may have a better or different answer.

    Could it be just a Usa thing. Seems odd but like you say you have never done one. I will be changing every 4000 mls, or yearly which ever comes first.

    Well done the oil filter, came off easy { pit helps a lot } didnt have to reset the interval no flashing dots on the display. Seems strange all clips i have seen has to be reset.

    Mines having service this afternoon, 6.8 litres of comline 5w 30 fully synthetic. I purchased the kit aircon filter oil filter air filter and oil for 50.00. Car had air con filter and oil at last service. The air con filter was black as hummer, after 4000mls dealers ripping off and ticking boxes as usual. Most fully synthectic oil does a multitude of vehicles. Mobil 1 is one of the worst i have put in a vehicle, but each to there own.

    Harly wax lasts about 4 months with regular washing, i wash about 3 times a week cant stand dirt on the car. Tin is huge 400ml yellow carnuba wax pad applicator included. Really nice guy owns a De tomaso Pantera, believe he is sole importer from Usa cost 22.00 delivered. His name is Dave Woods.

    Yes fantastic mechanic to say the least, looks like it starts first go to boot.

    Double speed is the one i tried stinks to high heaven. Have been trying different methods, best results thus far is a moist sponge seems the way. Harly wax is easiest iv used so far, any weather dry car wet car makes no difference. Brilliant shine beading is awesome Good price lasts for years. The fusso has good reviews on Briskoda, but the dark can cause problems. Have not tried yet due to weather conditions.

    My fusso arrived today, not to keen on the sponge pad seems a bit coarse.
