  1. Seems strange only fried one side. Could of blown 1 or more relays. Have you tried disconnecting the battery, for a few minutes and reconnecting.
  2. Can not see how air con is doing the damage. I would buy a smoke bomb set it off and if any leaks are evident you will see them. It could be the boot that is leaking, have you checked the spare wheel well. Could be over flowing into the rear, is the carpet wet on the rear under the seats.
  3. Strange my auto box is miles better in the power mode. More jerky in standard mode going up and down the gears. And saying the car is the same in both modes mine defenetly is not and its not ment to be either. If it was there would not fit the button to change the settings.
  4. The petrol are locked, only alternative turbos or as above states supercharger at massive outlay.
  5. Well mine is a lot quicker in power mode. Which is what its ment to do, also if in sports mode all the better.
  6. Is that with the air con on or off? Filters maybe needs a change have have they been done recently.
  7. CO % Vol: Max Limit = 0.2 / Actual = 0.01 HC PPM Vol : Max Limit = 200 / Actual Value = 12 C0 % VOL : Max Limit = 0.3 / Actual Volume = 0.01 This was mine on 23.3 2017 Standard Exhausts.
  8. The brake pad pins all rubbers are fine on the sliders. I check them twice a year when changing wheels over. The calipers move easily by hand.
  9. Well fitted the new pads today, and really was not much wrong with the old ones. Very deceptive still no harm done, another grease of the sliders. Noticed pins get covered in a lot of brake dust. Cleaned them again with a bit of 240 grit paper. Wonder if that is the pagid pads? See how the brembos perform against them.
  10. Could try these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Smoked-Black-LED-Tail-Lights-for-Lexus-ISF-IS250-IS350-Taillight-GSE20R-05-08-/130697162373?hash=item1e6e286e85:g:IUsAAOSwKOJYIpet http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Smoked-2006-2008-Lexus-IS250-IS350-LED-Rear-Brake-Tail-Lights-TailLamps-/131733139569?hash=item1eabe83071:g:zRIAAOSwvgdW2yWe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/For-06-08-Lexus-IS250-IS350-Black-Fiber-Optic-LED-Tube-Tail-Lights-Brake-Lamps-/311598443635?hash=item488cb6ec73:g:VgMAAOSwJSJXG1BB
  11. I believe you are right 75% front brake force 25% rear. That is why larger calipers and discs are normally on the fronts. Also nearly all fronts are vented. http://knowhow.napaonline.com/front-brakes-vs-rear-brakes-whats-the-difference/
  12. Yes solid rear discs look like brand new in wear . Grey coating on the inside i bought similar for a Vrs i had from germany were brilliant discs. They look like originals i have seen on ebay, not cheap but quality never is.
  13. It depends on your driving style i imagine. I am of the understanding autos go through pads quicker than manuals. Having said that when i changed my winters over i thought my rears seemed low. I purchased some brembo pads but have not fitted them yet. Rear discs are original no lip on them at 57,000 miles. Pagid pads were fitted same as the front also new discs at front. So i have only covered circa 8,000 miles in my ownership.
  14. Also depends on pads and discs. I always use the foot brake at traffic lights, and any long standing que of traffic.
  15. What john says is true. a friend had loads of trouble with his Nissan nats system. To many keys on the fob sent it into melt down. My brother in law owns an Avensis if i have his key on me i can not get in my car. Very strange is it not radio signals do strange things.
  16. Most common course of leakage is rubbers going due to lack of use. Should be used all year round and is brilliant in winter. As you state that is a very good price, as going rate around york is £40.00 ish. All we need now is the sun.
  17. Am i right in saying Sel have a manual headlight wash? Seems strange all vehicles i have owned with them wash every 5th cycle when lights are on. Reason been headlight pattern is affected by dirt on the lights. And that is the only reason headlight washers are fitted to Xenons. Also if headlight washers are not fitted, cars with hid headlight bulbs will not fail an Mot. Mine has just had Mot passed no advisories. And i am sure headlights were properly adjusted. If not some body has not done there job right.
  18. I notice you have xenons fitted to your car . Can i ask why you went for a model fitted with them. Was it for the look? No because when its an expensive option which brightens the way ahead. Also most upmarket cars are going the led way now, is that coincidence. You will not dazzle any body with the lights fitted to cars like ours utter rubbish. Only halogens fitted with hids and the like as the pattern is spread every where.
  19. These have a good review. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KFBPAJO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=kleantrix-20&linkId=d041ab0a259eba3be720fa7683f1159b Personally i would just fit hids. 5000k
  20. Once body work starts to go, only remedy is a rub down and paint. Is it the paint or the top coat lacquer? has it started through stone chips.
  21. Are you after one that does not need engine light on. I own a couple a £30.00 one for when engine light on. And a foxwell 644 which does every car you can name, comes with 4 gig of memory. Does airbags and the like, electronic brake rewind very handy but not cheap.Does not require engine light on.
  22. Weathers nippy here today easter coming so snow may be about. Just had a gorgeous few days. We do not see much snow now a days just rain.
