  1. Have you started and moved the car, still very strange if everything was okay before. My light went straight out after redoing the plugs. Are you sure you have not bent a pin.
  2. Mine worked fine till i unplugged the ecu harness. put back together no ps. back at it again plug not back in properly, all fine since.
  3. You could use some electrical cleaner, but it worked before they were unplugged. I would check and make sure,, none of them are bent.
  4. You will soon sort it out, it is very tight down there. No cable length, and the clips are a knightmare.
  5. He hasn't put the plugs in properly there is 3, i did same when i did mine. Nothing to do with setting anything, they are tight b.
  6. Buy some Cataclean and run that through, does a good job.
  7. Mot is not due till april, i thought about dropping it so i can see it properly. But it could break then i would be in big trouble. Also the bolts may snap so i would need to by the replacement bolts first, just in case. Also you think it would only be an advisory.
  8. Yes mine is leaking around that cup area Where the Xy lettering is. A bit hard to tell if it is top or bottom. All sooty around the hole. Exhaust part is a tad expensive as its the cats.
  9. My middle box has a small leak, where it goes into the box. { Cat Pipe } i assume it is the original exhaust. When you look underneath a cradle welded on, there is a small hole with soot. IT is not overly loud to be honest. Question do i attempt to repair the exhaust has anyone had similar. Seem like a lot in ebay baskets if the sellars are to be believed.
  10. I had no issues with mine just kept checking it, as its only a temp fix. It is up to the individual wether they are stuck or not. I worked nights finished early hours, so needed my car.
  11. The metal does not soldier, it is like a tin. provided you do not mess your battery again it should be fine. If you have some one handy, put a screw driver across the brakeage button in the car should go green if so it will start. As soon as you stop you would have to keep doing it. I run mine ages like that till i got the fuse link, there is a couple on ebay £120.00 each. They are a pig to fit, so be forwarned. If i remember the triangle piece comes off first, it slides in. If you have the replacement part practice taking it apart, then double the pain taking the old one out and putting the replacement back in.
  12. You could bridge it as a tempory repair. I used a washer bent in half and wedged in.
  13. I bought mine from a diesel scrap car, just less wires than mine. Took plenty of photos,& put which colour goes where. Took two of us about an hour and a half, fuse box keeps trying to close on itself. if memory serves me right bought from upullit York £22.00.
