Bought a 2001 Lexus IS200 manual 5 weeks ago, when I took it for a test drive the fuel warning light came on then the EML came on and the traction light started flashing. Got it back to the showroom and it was idling at about 2000 revs. A framed it home, serviced it, fitted the timing belt kit and swapped all the plugs and coil packs from my original IS200 which is heading for the scrappy. All dashboard lights went off.
New car has run perfectly every day for the past month. Yesterday the fuel warning light came on, followed by the EML and the traction light is flashing. It has also been sitting at 2000 revs when idling.
Decided to try to drive it 10 miles back home and it ran perfectly. Lights are still on with traction still flashing. Any help would be gratefully received.
