  1. Don't forget the complientary wash & vac ... ;-) ... I take it's an essentials service ? And the free Wine Gum(!), and tea, and biscuits, and tyre shine... It was an Intermediate/Minor...
  2. Nope - no filter needed. Just the quoted price... Badger might arrive today?
  3. I claim my badger ( see above ). MOT and service at Lexus Hatfield today. No advisories, no extra work needed. Just great service and hospitality.
  4. "It might be worth taking it to a Lexus dealer (or independant) just for them to take a quick look at it ..." Agree. For peace of mind.
  5. Had a rattle coming from my glove box for a few days. Solved it ... by taking out the 'heavy' Lexus Book. Seemed the weight was too much for the glove box! ( Wish it was cooled by the a/c though )
  6. Based on thoughts here, I have relocated my phone holder - nearer to the rear view mirror. I wouldn't want to have an accident and 'interfere' with an air bag. The safety factor and the numerous air bags ( 7 ? ) persuaded me...
  7. ... with my Lexus warranty I do get roadside cover too. All warranties and approaches have their pros and cons - I guess we all however need to be 'aware'.
  8. My iPhone Satnav gives me speed cameras, route preferences etc. Great!
  9. Disguise it with one of these... http://www.disneystore.com/car-accessories-home-decor-mickey-mouse-antenna-topper-set-all-holidays/mp/1345375/1000364/
  10. I like my phone visible for my satnav app. Maybe I need to reconsider the positioning though ...
  11. I know when I bought my used Lexus from a Lexus Dealer as 'approved', it had had a lot of work done that week. The checklist they use is quite long. Brakes, timing belt, service, valet etc...
  12. The wing mirrors on my Rx 400 are auto-dimming (electrochromatic) same as the rear view mirror ... I'm assuming they are the same on the 300, if so it has either had a replacement glass fitted (not electrochromatic) or it's damaged & the fluid has leaked out (maybe it's been hit ?) I always keep mine closed as the dimming ones aren't cheap & can be quite hard to find ...theres a picture at the bottom of this page showing the "stain" on a damaged one ..> http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/87298-wing-mirror-issue/ .. I'ts an easy job to change the mirror, here's how to get it out... > Thank you. I think you're right. There is a very slight 'stain'. Not the end of the world - but interesting to know...
  13. Does anyone know if such things as phone holders might get in the way of an airbag deploying, such as this? ( Sorry it's 90 degrees sideways )
  14. Thank you. The 'thing with the mirrors', just seemed to make the mirrors adjust more easily and smoothly - blow away the cobwebs, as it were...
  15. Is it just me? ( Though I'm sure I've seen it in a picture on the web ... ) My nearside wing mirror has an almost smoked tint - my off side doesn't. Any explanations welcome! ( Just did that thing on my wife's car, whereby you adjust the wing mirrors all the way up/down/left/right. They creaked at first, but then adjusted very smoothly. Made an amazing difference. )
  16. Was there ever an NCAP rating? I can't find one...
  17. Driving my wife's RX SE yesterday, compared with my SE-L - I CAN tell the difference. The SE-L is much smoother ( as you would expect ).. Both great cars though!
  18. Tried that 'dance' last night with my lights. Amazing to watch.
  19. I have a warranty as well - 1 year free plus two more at £. ( £1450 claimed so far ) but for me - it's peace of mind. But... each to their own. Nice to have a choice.
  20. Is there something else there as well? Dead insects? Ladybirds? ( Found one in my trim today )
  21. I used an old toothbrush - gently - when washing my wife's car. On the window rubbers too - gently.
