They cost me about £17. My local garage fitted them free for me. I've had them about a month, but they look like they will last and last.

I thought something looked familiar... the location of this seller. A while back I sold my beloved Soarer V8 on eBay. A buyer from Dudley won it. I drove up - quite a journey - and then of course he started to knock down the auction price, based on its paint work condition. Desperate for the cash and tired too, I reluctantly accepted. Then it was back on eBay, listed by him, in glowing terms, a few days later. ( I can see it as part of his feedback when he sold it on ). The seller's 'name' threw me - but looking at his name 'history', I can see he has changed it 3-4 times, and I recognise what he was then, in terms of his name. It broke my heart. Personally ... I would not trust him?

I have Ring 501's as sidelights. They are amazing! Canbus too, BUT... whether that does make any difference, I don't know...

For my own peace of mind, I would write ( and email as well ? ) - make it special-delivery - clarifying that it was not a 'trade sale'. Assuming it wasn't? I bought a Mio MiVue 518, I think it was. Plugs into the lighter socket, tucked the wire behind the trim.

Do you mean the unit, or the bulbs? I like the Osram bulbs...

Yes, they turn left and right. In the fog it made them really noticeable - but they only operate I think, at low speeds...

Fascinating to observe, in the really foggy weather recently, the Adaptive Front Lighting working, when turning corners. In the fog, the beam travel showed up really well. I guess I have taken it for granted, but to see the lights adjust, is quite surreal - and very helpful.

I do hear sounds sometimes... Not often. Always felt they were normal...
