  1. Have you also had a really good trawl of this forum? There might be an existing thread on your same issue?
  2. Is there a local Jap/Lexus independent near you who could take a look?
  3. Test drive them both. I always feel very SAFE in my RX...
  4. Go through a broker and see what they come up with? (I use LifeSure )
  5. Many yes and many no. Best to go with your gut instinct?
  6. Lexus Hatfield - if you're listening - chocolates please ( Lindt ).
  7. Yes, that's how I did it too. Pretty much invisible and NO damage to the trim.
  8. For me the jury's out ... though I do sometimes try them... I do wonder if the 'muck' coming out of the exhaust is simply the product burning off? I tend now to use quality petrol ( Shell Nitro ) when I can ( afford it ). Who knows?!

  11. Where does he say it, Mike?
  12. Does he? I've never seen that... I say follow the manufacturer...

  15. Can I just say, 'Happy Christmas'. It's a privilege to be amongst such nice ,informed and helpful 'colleagues'. Regards, Piers.
  16. ... and run your A/C regularly regardless, to keep it lubricated and happy.
  17. What a brilliant thread. Good advice for us all!
  18. I just fed the wire up across and down, gently pushing it behind the trim then down and across under the floor mat. It's exposed for about 3 inches and the top and side. I was careful not to inhibit the deployment of the side airbag cover... Cost nil, time, 10-15 minutes... Looks fine to me...
