    On the back of this, my driver wiper creates a squeak when it reaches the lowest position. I changed the arm and blade for a new Bosch Aero, cleaned the screen with rubbing-alchohol. But there is still a bit of a squeak. Any more thoughts? Use vinegar? Something else. ( Or just turn the radio up ?! )

    Just wondering... Is it possible to 'program' an RX300 such that when unlocking via the key fob, the side/dipped lights come on ? It would be so useful in the dark.

    It's not just the radiator fan is it? Sometimes they run after the ignition is off...

    Is it worth asking whoever you bought it from? Maybe they have the part, know the history of the sat nav?

    i don't have a tow bar - but I'm sure that a 'phone call to any Lexus Service Dept., would answer your question ...?

    If you mean air suspension, the SEL does/did. It has a 'height' button near the gear change.

    Have you compared the one that stays down with the one that pops up? I seem to recall on my, there was a small clip that was wonky when I bought mine, but with adjustment has been fine ...

    12 years! No, mine was changed last year. Ironically, I suspect when the new battery was fitted - by a good independent - it wasn't quite tight enough? maybe? And the CostCo device sounds great! Happy days. Piers.

    Normally there's an under-bonnet sticker AND it says in the Service Book?

    ... and check your battery connections! Never thought it would come loose, but it did. Maybe it's all these potholes we have to drive over...!

    Log Burner for us too! Lovely. The heat goes in the room NOT up the chimney.

    Drove to Luton Airport this morning. All fine. 3 hours later to go home, car unlocked, then dead. No lights, no ignition, nothing ... Called Lexus Assist ( AA). 30 minutes later, they arrived and the car has started. The problem? The connection to my battery had come loose(!), so it was effectively disconnected for maybe 3 hours. It took about a minute to be fixed. It's never let me down before, so I WAS surprised! I guess the car has to re-learn stuff now. Certainly some of memory settings have gone... But a happy ending. Top Tip: Keep a coat in your car. I had one ( a high viz ) and was I grateful!

    Does the 300 differ much from the 350 in terms of AWD? Do you think ... ?

    Same here... I use it on a hill, give it the occasional on/off, on my RX just to keep it going...

    Me too - down the side of the sofa - though mine was with a Whizzer and Chips.

    Love my CCTV. Streams to the cloud. I do also have CCTV signs to keep it all 'correct'

    We all disconnect batteries at some point. Should not be a problem. Glad your RX is happily relearning ... Is your little switch in the correct position now? Still think a good independent is the way to go... Good luck!

    I guess it depends on your requirements? I think a really good search of this forum answers lots of questions. When I was looking, I read almost every RX thread there was. So useful!
