    Pins need greasing, new clips needed, missing shims? "The dealer has cleaned each brake area and checked brake operation " But did they strip them?

    I STILL like my CoPilot App. Up to date, portable, speed cameras, traffic info. What's not to like? The built-in SatNav is just a back up now - and a map to glance at maybe?

    I got a Yuasa - seems a good brand and does the job.

    I'm taking my RX into Japex (http://www.japex.co.uk/ ) next week to get a few small jobs done, including getting the rear calliper pins re-greased. Would anyone suggest anything else while it's there; MAF clean, check air filter etc? ( I get it serviced with Lexus to maintain my Warranty ) Piers.

    I get that on my RX300. Had it fixed ( skimmed pads and a clean ) now it's back. I believe it's on the rears that do less work... Sounds like a slow creak...

    Bought some small brushes via e bay. Great for door and sunroof hole cleaning. ( Hot 2Pcs Stainless Steel White Long Brush Cleaning Drinking Straw Pipe Cleaner )

    Could be... I had one, used to make a ticking sound, before Lexus replaced it. Drove ME mad too!
