    Lexus did it under warranty, so I don't know how much it would have cost. The sound drove me mad so I would have paid £ to get it done...!

    I'm reading that front and rears should not differ by more than 2mm... Does that influence it at all i wonder?

    After reading Honest John, I bought some MER Windscreen cleaner. I have to say, it's very good. Cleaned my screen, stopped the wiper squeak and removed the marks I always saw when it rained - like it does 364 days of the year.

    JUST ... managed to source 4 Nokian Weatherproofs )(All Season ), to replace my wife's old, RX350 cracked winter tyres with not much thread. Lexus fitted them, I sourced them. They have a gorgeous tread pattern that looks like it would get through anything. The reviews are good. And the are quiet and comfy when driving.

    On my wife's car, they are Khumo Winters... ( On mine, Michelin HP Tours, which are Mud and Snow, but NOT winter as such. Sometimes described as all-season ... more due to their tread pattern than composition, I suspect?

    I had a Lexus Warranty from a Lexus dealer on an older car. It was great. Not sure about a 3rd party warranty. If it's a non Lexus dealer, maybe ask to take it to Lexus for a free health check?

    It's snowy out there - about 6-8 inches in places. Even in my ( wife's ) RX with winter tyres, it was somewhat stressful. But we got 'there' and we got back again.

    Is there an optimum place on the drivers door mirror to place a small blind spot mirror? Near the far edge, high, low?

    I've looked at various options, but in the end decided it was more hassle than it was worth. Theft was a worry for me. Maybe some cheaper tablets instead - or CD's or books?!
