    "pretty expensive warranty isn't worth much on an older car." Mine was. IF... it's honoured. Why be sold something that cannot be used? I would question that... Great comments on this thread.

    Because... it's now over 14 years old. BUT... I did use it up until May of this year. My car has done about 90,000+ miles. So the milage was fine, just its age now.

    Then I would ask whoever sold you the Warranty to 'explain themselves'...

    I have had some Lexus jobs done free - it's all based, I think, on building a solid and respectful relationship with the Service Department staff.

    The radiator should be covered if it's a genuine Lexus radiator. Why do they say some things are not? Is it the milage? The pads etc., I can understand, but I have had shocks replaced under warranty...

    Great! Happy days. When I bought mine I got 4 new tyres all round. Just seemed safer. And if you are going to, might as well do it sooner... I had my gearbox fluid done to. Headphones? Did the Lexus Dealer make you aware? If not, suggest they supply them?

    So ... how are you thinking of progressing? Whatever you do, I suggest sooner rather than later and based on sound legal guidance...

    I'm going to do my car... It won't be perfect but it will be good enough... Clear off mud, brush off rust, and use ( decent ) ramps. I'll do it from each end and use Bilt Hamber Dynax UC Anti Corrosion Wax 750ml (x2) which seems to have very good reviews. ( Cannot afford £500+. I have seen much higher quotes too ).
