    First thing, when cold... I set my heat/direction etc... If needed, I then use the 'clear that screen now' button. It does blast me as it's pushed out at high speed - that's fine and expected. When clear, I press that button again, and it's job done.

    Does anyone have an opinion on how much tread is 'good' for the Winter. I've had my Michelin Cross Climates for 3 years with average mileage... Not sure weather ( pun intended - groan ) to keep or update?

    I just wouldn't. Some say the two best tyres need to be on the back, not on the front etc... But to never mix All Season/Winter, with Summer tyres. And if you had to make an insurance claim and it was found with mixed tyres... who knows?
