  2. It can just mean, 'they' missed the next lorry out that day... Happened to me... delayed by a day.
  3. Agree. And sorting out means not just clearing the codes, but resolving the underlying cause.
  4. +1 above. 'fully service' can be ... a proper full service or just an oil change. I had, 'the VSC and Engine light are on is a big concern' on my RX. Went into limp mode. I did get it fixed, but it cost me about £800. Yours could be a different solution? I would be cautious...
  5. Agree. My 90+ mother's fridge has just finally given up. It was 50 years old and never had any maintenance etc., at all. AC is self-service - run it regularly.

  7. Thank you, Herbie, very useful! The reviews do look very good!
  8. Ditto: ? I contacted http://www.ebaystores.co.uk/ToyotaOfficialStore with my VIN number to get the exact part...
  9. Thank you both. Very useful. The Hikvision ColorVu looks amazing! ( I guess the issue for me is I am terrified(!) of heights. Can't even look at them on television 😞 ) PS. The night vision looks amazing!

  11. Hello, I have CCTV installed around my house, which I did, but fancy one of those high-up Dome CCTV wired cameras, near the eaves. Has anyone had one installed - any tips? ( Too high for me - afraid of heights! )
  12. I read lots about the Chinese ones. As you say, given the labour involved ... better to get ones you will trust.
  13. Thank you both - yes, I think that's it, Colin.
  14. Hello, Is anyone, more able than me, able to tell me what to look for to replace this broken black plastic plug? I found it broken. There is one on the LHS and the RHS, under the bonnet, near the windscreen, holding a large piece of plastic trim in place, right across the width of the car. It is about 18mm across and 10mm deep.
  15. Great post, great story, great pictures!
