    I do use tiny (501?) LEDs as my sidelight/parking lights bulbs, and have them on during daytime driving. But as for all the other external bulbs, I just use the standard, but best I can buy, bulbs as nature ( and Lexus ) intended.

    Now that I can drive my car again ( no reoccurrence of the interference ), just had my Service and MOT. All fine, for a 17 year old car, apart from a hole under the rear nearside wheel arch requiring patching and welding. It's a bit of a mud trap. Japex did a great job though...

    Update: Sort of no update. Having turned the house power off and on a few days ago, all has been well since. So I am keeping an eye on it. I'll update the thread if anything develops. Thank you to all for your help and support.

    Electrical interference? Does your remote work ok?

    Windy day, something moving inside, water ingress? Have you tried - assuming there is one - setting the alarm with movement detection OFF? Maybe check what the manual says?

    +1 I was once told my air con had failed and all needed to replaced - by an air con 'specialist'. Second opinion - 'needs re-gassing'. That's what i did and it was fine for ever more...
