    I am so sorry. Your dog, Ella looked very special. And what a great example to us all, with our petty moans and groans in life, to be presented with such an example of triumph over adversity. Truly humbling. Having had an almost pathological fear of dogs most of my life, I was outvoted and we now have one. My view has changed - unconditional love. I am sure Ella enjoyed a happy and fulfilling life and an amazing sense of smell. ( Platitudes I know, but heartfelt and well meant. ) May she rest - and play - in peace. Piers.

    Curious... When you say your local dealer, 'checked'... Do you know if they re-gassed, i.e., took ALL the gas out and put what was required back in, or was it one of those dubious, 'visual checks'?

    When I use my a/c, I always turn it off a minute or two before I arrive at my destination. My thinking is that, give it time to take out any moisture that might condense etc... I also, once a year, use an aerosol thing. I never, get home, a/c off and engine off at the same time. Just habit now... No egg smells from the a/c.

    Personally, I would move on, put it behind you, take out a warranty, and most importantly, enjoy your car.

    All the usual things... MOT history, service history, everything works, test drive, HPI etc ...

    I think... nobody truly knows. Even 'scientific evidence' can be manipulated/interpreted differently/be subject to other influences. The only thing that might be 'stable', will be the cost. But the benefit?

    I do... They are brilliant. A few times. I've had them sent to a garage and paid them to fit them. For my car and my wife's - never let me down.
