  1. Will it go into 'Drive'?
  2. Any Tandy TRS-80 owners here? Piers.
  3. Well... yesterday it snowed. Our daughter is a p/t carer currently, and went out in the morning. I had put Falken all-seasons on her Aygo and all was well. Later in the day and the evening shift - it had snowed again, was getting icy and nasty and dark. To lessen her stress I took her for her appointments. She saw a car 'in' a post. Not someone's lucky day. ( One of her appointments on a hill... the client had cancelled it. The office forgot to tell my daughter! So we turned up there too.) Anyway, I had my trusty RX300, Michelin Cross Climates - about a year old - and my Snow/ECT button on. Never felt out of control, drove wisely and was impressed with their performance. Tried a few 'emergency stops' on the nasty side roads and they were perfect. Impressed. PS. Saw this on our travels.
  4. Oakham ?
  5. Snow today 😉
  6. Very nice! Stupid question - what 'drive' is it? AWD, FWD, RWR? Looks lovely. Enjoy.
  7. And this - when I was at University...
  8. Patti Austin
  9. Not sure - I know mine don't - wished they did! I would suggest, no ...?
  10. Private sale or dealer? Get them to rectify it?
  11. +1 My car and my wife's car - both when under warranty had sized callipers. Lexus simply replaced them ...
  12. Yes, I'm intrigued. Never heard of this before ...
  13. Check those rubber pipes seals bits, that you see when you open the back hatch door...
  14. +1 enjoy your car and give the engine bay a clean yourself you know its been done properly. And you'll reconnect with the car and make it yours again. Sounds odd I know, but it works for me!
  15. +1 Happened to me yesterday - no inner lights with the door open - just had to prod the rubber covered sense thing in the door jam.
  16. Interesting... Current thinking does seem to be - don't bother. I can see the logic of doing it BUT, would be worried it would open up a can of worms. If it ain't broke...
  17. Consider some all-season or snow tyres?
  18. A bit of an update... Well, the next day the screen was still black when I selected Reverse. The day after that there was a blue coloured area about 15% of the screen, down one side, when I selected Reverse. The day after that, it was working again - perfectly. I think, with it not having been driven for a while, it was some moisture or condensation? Driving to work I have kept the heater hot and the air flow... flowing. Long may it continue.
  19. Thank you all! I'll let you know if any updates!
  20. Hello all and a happy and safe New Year. It's a bit of a first world problem and my car is getting old ( 18 Years ), but I noticed when changing gear into Reverse, the camera display changes, showing the coloured guidelines but the rest of the screen is black. I'm thinking rain, wiring etc? I love my car but it is getting old and love the camera too. Just wondering if there is anything obvious to check. A quick forum search showed up nothing I could use... It might correct itself in time - who knows?!
  21. ... and, depending on how you view these things, a Happy New Year, good New Year, New Year.
