Problem as startup

+1 Had problems starting my wife's car... seat not moving etc. Garage said the battery was fine as did the AA. I convinced her to splash out on a new battery regardless - fine since then. ( About £280 at Lexus - money well spent. ) ( The battery was about 6 years old. ) -
Thank you all. I'll try an enzymatic ( surely a great name for a 1960's car ? ) one first and 'see' what happens.

If the price is right, I guess... Love the term, 'full wheel balancing', as opposed to...? Partial, empty, some, a bit... I always wonder in listings, where the fix is, 'just a ...', why the seller does not apply the fix themselves? Perhaps a project car and the willingness to succeed or at least enjoy trying!

Has anyone used/would/wouldn't, used one-shot (acid) to clear a semi-blocked kitchen sink ( likely the long pipe under out kitchen floor? ) Any guidance would be most welcome! 😶

Brilliant. In the past I have used a 3D printed bracket. NEVER let me down. I bought it on eBay but cannot find them now. It also used super-sticky tape, so basically the same thing I guess. Suction cups are fine until... they're not!

Thank you. ( I have loads of security. Wife thinks I'm obsessed. And fire extinguishers... ) We have an up and over garage door on runners. Drilled a hole in the metal near the front, so I can lock it with a padlock on the runner inside when we go away... Also .... some ornate window bars, these driveway alarms are good, Abloy padlocks, UPSs...

Thinking about home security... I read lots of advice about, 'put your TV on a timer'. But most TVs require the remote control to make them physically come on. Even radios need to be a bit old-fashioned to function on a timer... ( I know there are those fake TVs, but they only seem good upstairs, or behind curtains.) Has anyone managed it? [ Any other home security tips most welcome. I worked hard for my stuff - don't wish to lose it ! ]

Me... if it's had regular oil changes when the oil is still hot then I wouldn't flush it... Others may say otherwise?
