  1. Drove past 5 petrol stations this morning - all closed. No petrol 😞
  2. Sounds odd. You know your a/c works - just not all the time. Could be something really simple... something not 'cutting-in' when it needs to everytime? I'm sure an A/C specialist will be able to fault find better than a replace-and-try approach.
  3. Drove past 6 petrol stations this morning ( on the way to Morrisons ). All closed.
  4. I asked Timpsons once to engrave a Cup for a School event, with... and I wrote it down for them, 'Stewart House'. They did. Only problem was, it was engraved as, 'Stuart House'. I rest my case.
  5. For my RX300 and my wife's RX350 and her 450, I simply just changed the batteries and they were all fine.
  6. If you have a small screwdriver you can do it yourself. I bought a cheapo watch screwdriver set from eBay - about £5. Really useful to have.
  7. Mouse traps near you car might work? It's a tricky one.
  8. Tension
  9. Indeed. Trapped a mouse in the loft a couple of nights ago. [ Not that we keep a car in the loft. ]

  12. Maybe not what you're looking for but could you take it back to the seller to resolve?
  13. A little bit. Small queues here for petrol ( but no diesel available. ) I reckon by Monday it will be old news. I blame the media. As long as we have Mince Pies for Christmas...
  14. Meets the manufacturers spec., I assume... Better safe than sorry I think.
  15. +3 Change the battery. Could uncover loose connections, an old battery etc. For the cost and with colder weather on the way...
  16. It'll polish out. [ An oldie but a goldie. ]
  17. +1 I wouldn't. My thinking would be... My life is too important to risk, just to save a little cash buy buying such an unknown.
  18. Just to reiterate...mine does get hot. But... it's been fine for all its 18 years of life.
  19. I get mine done every year at an Indie. Costs about £60+VAT. Money well spent I think ...
  20. On a non Lexus I had the same issue. It was the condenser - and stone damage I assume. A new condenser fixed it. I would take up the issue with the 'Lexus Specialist' you originally took it to, if you feel they are worthy of your trust ( and money ).
  21. Worth a try? https://good-garage-guide.honestjohn.co.uk/
  22. Gift
  23. Just heard about Aspen Fuel. Might get some for my generator. It's not cheap but has longevity. ( Like me I hope. )
  24. Which one? Remote, car, hybrid? Any accessories plugged in draining it? Age of said batteries? Used much? Any dealer diagnosis?
