My aged Nextbase Dashcam 212 has finally died. I am wondering if I can keep the screen fitting and wiring and buy a newer but power-cable compatable, Nextbase in a newer model. Has anyone done that? Regards.

Well... I'm told it's a snapped, badly corroded rear suspension arm. The part is on order now. It's also suggested both be changed. Which sounds reasonable to me given the age of my car.
