  1. As a PS., every year, whatever, the car, I change the pollen filter, use a stick-it-in-the footwell air-con cleaning aerosol, and check the air-con temperature. Cost... about £15? Satisfaction... priceless!
  2. £175! Skip it. Buy a decent aerosol. Even a re-gas is only about £70...
  3. Do you where on the M1? It would be interesting to look out for them. ( Hate tail-gaiting... )
  4. Change the pollen filter, check all the vents are open, check the car is not on re-circulation...
  5. ... if lots of bits have to be removed to reach the plug, do you think 'they' actually tried?
  6. e.g., https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304586015688?hash=item46eabdc3c8:g:r4AAAOSw39di68fa&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoAJry2KpeFTmu8paa4NQ7qzzBpkRNdZA%2B6KKRMDjIpkzMxwIz0Y5eVbpHDjqsggS41oGpQoF6nfYYSx1p5RgoZFc57WvtncLIMllxW8qmiJfH0KGiDspDNx42m4tbMj02caB%2FIvHjDBaTP9UKIOcdAbEEUHo23ZlVTi8TLtl75jFkUmXuKdACwnzeB9ZZopo6NcghTfIT%2BDw%2F5oiUzGl0YU%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-zg6N_xYA
  7. And me. DIY job once a year. Then I know it HAS been done. I buy on eBay, the charcoal ones if possible...
  8. Was there a resolution to your issue?
  9. I'm not sure anyone knows... Some say never and others say, yes. Had mine done back in the day and I did feel it made a difference. It's probably a similar argument to that of premium fuel?!
  10. I don't know but... I would definitely search this specific RX forum for "air suspension" issues. I'm sure another member has had similar issues?
  11. Yes.. on my RX. ( Sub-frame )
  12. https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-e10-petrol
  13. And "full MOT".
  14. +1 on the bulbs. I changed mine - still working - but the news ones were FAR better. Engine Coolant strength check? Tyre check?
  15. If it was me, I'd stare under the bonnet for anything obvious, and then think if I bought it from Lexus and therefore does it have a Lexus warranty, or serviced at Lexus with a Relax warranty, or think about my local and trusted independent garage for a check... I'm sure others here will share much greater wisdom.
  16. Just an FYI... A pre-MOT check sounds like a good idea. Corrosion underneath seemed to be the biggest problem for me ( my car that is! ) Also water getting behind the plastic wheel arch inner covers and causing rust. Not easily visible but certainly worth being aware of...
  17. ... and check for any stored Codes?
  18. Agree. An interesting thread. Steering wheel (VISIBLE) locks generally look good. I have read reviews where some have become locked on... I guess even one that 'looked' locked on would be better than none at all?
  19. Not sure if this helps?
  20. Thank you. And of course, so true!
  21. Thank you, Malc. Consultant tomorrow and a date to be organised. Likely late this month or sometime next month. Piers.
  22. I've just been told I need to have a biopsy, (prostate) under general anaesthetic.
