  1. Autoparts Warehouse list the part number for a 2006 hood as L130112 and the 2009 facelift as L130113. So that would suggest they are different.
  2. My 2008 facelift model, still only does 4 digit post codes, despite having the latest maps.
  3. I bought a set of black ones for the winter. Cheap enough. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-GS450H-06-TO-PRESENT-Urban-Tailored-Car-Mats-Black-/330875745830?hash=item4d09bb3626
  4. There is no traditional 12v starter motor. The engine is started with one of the of the traction motors, either when the traction battery gets low or the power of the petrol engine is required. The 12v battery only powers the electronics but needs to be charged to enable the engine to start. When the battery indicator is down to two bars there is 65% charge left. I've only ever seen my indicator turn green once. It's normally between the two purple bars, at the bottom and the blue bars, two from the top.
  5. My 2008 rarely pulls away on battery only and when it does it never gets above 10mph before the engine cuts in.
  6. Is this a standard feature or an option. I can't say I've noticed it at all but then again I rarely drive at night.
  7. If the system shows the station name on the display, the RDS is definitely on. If the frequency is displayed, it may be off.
  8. The radio should automatically scan for the best signal. When I travel from Blackpool to Burnley listening to Radio Lancashire, it starts tuned into 103.9 and finishes at 95.5. (It may pass 104.5 on the way) Radio Lancashire put different things on different frequencies. The Blackpool match will be transmitted on 103.9 and the Burnley match on 95.5, so you can start listening to one football match on one side of the county and get another match as that frequency moves out of range.
  9. Yes me too. I actually used the link from your post. I find the fuse and try it. I would talk to them, you may have a faulty disc. BTW be wary of cleaning the disc drive with one of those cleaning discs. I've heard the system will not eject them. Someone was asking how to get an audio disk out of the sat nav slot, I would imagine a cleaner disc would present the same problem..
  10. Got mine from here. http://satnavdiscsale.com/lexus-sat-nav-20-c.asp, it works fine. No reboot required.
  11. I've got both. I need the Tom Tom for the times the expensive Mark Levinson system can't cope, which is quite often. £150 v £2700 I think it's a rip off to be honest. Reception on the FM radio is crap too.
  12. You might save more by going to an independant. Say a car is £15k at Lexus, it'll probably will be £13k at an independant. As I mentioned in my post above you also have the consumer rights act 2015 which give a certain amount of time after purchase depending on severity of the fault, once this has ended you then buy the two year warranty plus a further two years later on. So, if a Lexus purchase costs you £16k inc warranty for 3 years, an independant purchase costs you £15k for four years warranty. All hypothetical of course, as the gap between Lexus and independant prices might be bigger!Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk The 08 example was £13.999 at the Lexus dealer but mine was less than £10k, so the savings could be quite considerable.
  13. A car from an independent then buy a Lexus warranty, could save you thousands. My 08 GS450h SE L was less than £10k
  14. Be prepared to walk away but make sure the dealer has your email address and don't settle until you've walked away at least twice. The dealer will have a break even figure and will eventually settle for any amount above that.
  15. I've got both. I need the Tom Tom for the times the expensive Mark Levinson system can't cope, which is quite often. £150 v £2700 I think it's a rip off to be honest.
  16. The voice prompt volume is set independently of audio volume, so you should be able to find a level to suit you.
  17. £150 is affordable.... this has the Mark Levinson upgrade so it is all HDD based so I believe has to be done at the dealer. You can get an upgrade for the HDD system, on an SD card from the link.
  18. Lexus is about £150 + VAT I bought from here last week. http://satnavdiscsale.com/lexus-sat-nav-20-c.asp £39.99
  19. Finally got around to checking this. There's no provision for DRL in the software, however I did adjust the Auto Headlamp function to come on sooner (when lighter)
