Having now owned my F Sport for 3 weeks, am not sure how you guys drive, but I am sitting on the 35mpg. I am not a slow driver. On motorway I will sit at 85mph as this is the threshold of the speed cameras up the M1 (at least that's my finding). A road, I don't hang about.... BUT, my last car, Alfa Spider 2.0l would not get about 25mpg. So for me, 35 mpg is great. :) DC

Hi guys, Had the car a week now, and still cannot figure out how to display SMS in car, or in fact emails....... Iphone 5 on Version 8.2 I have SMS forwarding to my Ipad and Mac book but it wont go to the car, Can anyone shed any light on my plight........... :( thanks DC

In my experience, dealers know very little about their cars... I had to tell the guy who sold me yesterday about this same operation. When I asked about the auto windows he just said its not an option on my model, which quite frankly I think is BS.. So now I'm on a mission to prove them wrong.... Sell cars, that's their main focus, I just wish they would do some research into their products...... DC

Hi all Tried again got the result I wanted, 5 flashes, but there was still no consistency with regards to the position of the roller on the wiper arm. Never mind, I got what I wanted so all is good......... :) DC

Hi all I read in my user manual that this option is available (if programmed by the dealer) to open the windows on the key by holding down the lock/unlock button after the doors have unlocked/locked. I tried it on mine and it doesn't do this operation on either side, so I wondered if anyone had it, is It available and if so how do we make it do it. Is it something I can do like the indicator lane change adaptation or is something definitely for the dealer? Thanks DC

Hi guys, After flicking through the forum last night I found this useful tip. Well, today I tried it. I got the indicator to flash after the initial setup was executed, but would it give me 5 flashes???? No it wouldn't. I got 7, then I retried and got 1, then I retried and got 7, then again I got 4, then I tried again and got touch sensitive only.....I tried again and got 7 so left it at that for now... Yes I tried adjusting the roller on the wiper arm, occasionally it changed the amount of flashes but normally did nothing. If I had got 5 I would have stuck with it, but no.... 7 it is.... for now .... Anyone have any suggestions? DC

Looks ace! The sat nav volume is customizable somewhere in the settings so you can knock that gripe off your list :P With regards to the USB, I experienced the same with the CT when I had a loaner last year. Hopefully the dealers can sort it out! Yes I found the satnav volume early on, on full it's still not audible over my music so is off now. Why would you take a step back from programming the software to lower the music volume when the sat nav chirps up to doing nothing? Counter intuitive IMO. It may well get resolved in an a software update at some point?? Talking of which, which is the latest software version? Must check I am on it. Duly noted about the wheels, already got the mirrors to turn down when reversing, the rear camera is going to take some getting used to though. I shall have to get onto the guy who sold me it to ask about the USB issue. Very annoying to have to pull it out and put it back in again everytime I get in the car..... DC

1st report...... Picked up this morning and drove an hour and half back to MK. Well, i am impressed, the car is a delight to drive. Acceleration is ample, any more and can easy get myself into trouble. (its hardly been out of sport mode ) The ride is nicely refined, firm enough to know your well planted but still soaks up bumps and holes with ease. I am amazed at the lack of road noise, even at 71mph............. Not difficult after coming from an Alfa, but still very good, even with the window open.... Stereo is good, handling is good. Seats are very good, Small gripes... Left foot positioning is slightly turned in for me, but can live with it. Sat nag cannot be herd over the music - who needs directions anyway when its this fun to drive USB doesn't come on automatically when getting back in the car. I have to pull it out and reinsert it! Is this normal or have I missed an option in the settings...

So...... It's 3.07am, and I can't sleep. You guessed, pick up the car in the morning. Off down to Guildford for 9.00am as soon as they open to collect.. I wasn't that fussed about the new car but I suppose the fact I am here at this time of the morning is evidence I am...!!!!! I got a white Fsport in the end with red leather interior and premium Nav. I'm already considering changing/spraying the wheels black as I think white cars with black wheels look sexy as hell...... Anyway, I imagine by the time many of you read this I shall be cruising up the M1 headed home in the new (to me) motor.... Happy days DC

Not got my car yet, but the first thing my wife commented on in the IS300h when we got in it at the showroom was the clock. She liked it. And, so do I. Not spent any real time with it but I think its a nice touch... DC

Well, I have succumbed. Put the deposit down today on a '64 plate white F Sport. Very excited... looking forward to the luxury and refinement.... Now, does anyone know of someone who might like a much loved Alfa Spider Italia Independent?? lol Am off now to search Google for accessories lol DC

Im guessing you put all 3 offers on that black car in the space of a day? lol well, the one i was originally looking at was sold this afternoon, so thought I would enquire about the one in Guildford, but the website didn't make it obvious the offer had gone. so I kept trying do you work for Lexus? or is their something on the site suggesting the offers had been made? Sorry to hear your woe's ganzoom... I thought Lexus prided themselves on their customer service..... Of course, mine has been good so far, but then I havn't yet bought the car. Oh and probably best you stay on 4 wheels if your that clumsy on 2 DJP, yes sorry it's a little less than you probably paid for yours, but I have something against buying new....
