  1. Have you tried this on your S5? I would like to know how it works on other phones. I've just updated the CarCast App to Version 1.1. There was a bug when you switched OFF/ON the CarCast App. Check the link for the latest version and release notes. Please uninstall the previous version before installing the new version.
  2. I've made this module available now along with a step by step guide on how to install it. You don't have to enable all features. You can configure which features you want ON or OFF by the way you install it. Click here for the installation guide
  3. It's not too hard. You need to get access to the Right and Left Hand Body Control Modules, the Engine Control Module and the Light Switch. You can have a look at my step by step instructions.
  4. Hi I always wondered why our Lexus’s don’t have features found in other high-end makes like Mercedes and BMW, so I embarked on a project that I just recently completed. I designed and made an electronic module that adds the following features: Auto Door Locking/Unlocking controlled either by Park or Ignition Switch Approach/Follow me home lighting. If it is sufficiently dark the headlights will turn on as you approach the car and remain on when you exit. Click here to watch the demonstration video Enjoy!
  5. The company that makes the iVIC is in the USA. I bought the iVIC of Amazon and they shipped to Australia. Maybe you might be a be able to find a seller that ships to the UK.
  6. Apple iPhones cannot detect the iVIC Bluetooth, which is how the unit sends the touch screen commands to the phone. So you will not be able to get touch integration. You could probably get the screen casting to work using Apple TV as that uses a HDMI output (I cannot confirm this as I do not have an Apple TV device). You will not get wireless charging as iPhones don't have that feature either. I'm still working on website thanks :)
  7. Hi, I have just recently added wireless phone charging & wireless phone display to my IS250. Click here for the demonstration video. The phone I used is a Nexus 5 running Android 5.0.1. I created a custom App called CarCast to automate the connection. I’m making the App available for you to download and use free. However you’ll have to download some supporting Apps and there is a cost for the supporting App. I have no affiliation with the 3rd party Apps. Click here for the CarCast App and instructions. I’ve still got some spare components to make the Wireless Charging kits. If people are interested I just need to order one more component to make these up. Let me know and I can put some together. Otherwise enjoy the DIY and show it off to your friends, look no wires :)
