  1. From what I've read on reviews of the car, having bigger wheels create a much firmer ride (making British roads feel even worse) so it depends whether that would bother you or not. As for what to look for, I bought an IS250 on an 06 plate 6 months ago and it needed both lambda sensors replacing- something that apparently is quite common around the 70k mark so depending on it's age ask if it's had those changed as they are expensive. Other than that they are supremely reliable cars and if looked after properly shouldn't cause you any issues
  2. Hi guys, I bought a beautiful mica red 06 is250 back in February and since then it has gone through oil pretty quickly. The manual says anything up to 1l per 600miles is acceptable and mine is probably using about a litre per 1.2k. This suprised me at first because my previous is200 never used a drop. However, seeing as I am going to have to top it up regularly, what oil does everyone recommended? Lexus' own is £70 for 5l which isn't too bad but any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, James
  3. What's on my mind ? My just purchased immaculate is250....
