A post of it in motion. https://naviks.com/i-24068265-2006-2011-lexus-gs-s190-video-integration-interface.html https://naviks.com/i-24075722-naviks-wireless-smartphone-mirror-interface-usb-media-video-audio-hdmi-or-av-out-android-iphone-compatible-youtube-ios-11-compatible.html A link to the products to make it work.

Hi all, I'm very interested in the hardware provided by Navik which supports Android and IPhone screen mirroring. They are based in USA and looking at some YouTube videos looks like an incredibly good upgrade. It is apparently easy to install too. My question is, has anyone on the forum used or seen this before?

The noise is still very much there and having gone over bushes to the best of my ability I can't seem to find the issue. I've always described the noise as a knocking, which is exactly what it sounds like on the move, however while investigating with the car stopped, it is almost like a deep squeak/friction type noise, very tricky to describe. When I rock the car on the spot I can feel where the noise is coming from, and it's coming from the black thing on top of the suspension mount, which I'm guessing is something to do with the sports suspension? I want to take this off to investigate but I want to be sure of what it is first. As always, help is appreciated. Mark

Hi Rob, I did, but for some reason it sent it in the quote I copied from you; "Hi Rob. Thanks for the reply. Knocking is only present when moving, at slow and fast speeds, little variation in noise, however knocking is quicker when going over a bump, sounds like a quicker vibration. No difference when steering either direction. Nothing obvious visually looking at usual suspects. Rocking the left side of car when stationary causes slight knocking, like checking for shock wear."

Hi there, My first time on the forum for several months! Just posted a new issue if any of you can help! http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/113364-continuous-knocking-from-left-side-of-car-advice-appreciated/ With regard to the problem Giles is referring to, it sounds like it is an electrical buzzing. I have never got to the bottom of this issue. If it sounds the same as your problem Robert, it happens all of the time but you can obviously hear it a lot more when the car is running just on battery. Did you ever have this issue diagnosed? Does it sound the same as mine? Giles, sorry to hear you've parted with the GS450h! What did you replace it with? Nice to see your advice on here has seen a lot of other owners have solved the dreaded bearing issue! So far I have not had this issue, but I know where the help is when it does occur! Giles, could you remind me where you got the bearings from? Are the details of the type of bearings needed in your user guide for this? Cheers, Mark

Hi all, Apologies for my diagnosis being slightly vague but I have an issue with my GS450h with 105k which has an incessant knocking noise coming from the front left side of the car. My first thought was exhaust bracket, as the rattling sounds like metal on metal however the exhaust is fine, with no movement. My next guess would be something suspension related however it has recently passed an MOT with no advisories. It had been suggested to me by a local garage that it could be something on the top suspension mount causing the noise, as it sounds like it is coming from that area, however another garage said it might be the differential, however neither garage were willing to investigate further, saying it would be main dealer. Has anyone had a similar experience of noise and what it could be?

Hi everyone. I bought my Lexus in February and so far have put 6k trouble free miles on it. I purchased the car with quite patchy service history so whilst I am keen to look after it well, I don't have the dilemma of keeping up Lexus servicing just to keep a fully stamped book! I know it is easy to say that it should be serviced once a year or every 10k miles, but other than engine oil, filter, are there any real necessities that need looking at/adjusting on a service? The cynic in me thinks that there aren't a whole lot of things that need that much attention and even. I don't want to sound wreckless, but I don't want to pay c. £250 for servicing for "peace of mind" when a simple engine oil and filter change every 8k-10k miles would suffice. Obviously I wouldn't neglect changing the other oils and coolants when they are needed but they are generally quite infrequently changed anyway. I would appreciate opinions from other people on here and how you go about maintaining your pride and joy.

Does anyone have any experience either getting this done or owning a diagnostic tool capable of doing this on a GS450H? I would be happy buying a tool that was capable of doing it, providing it wasn't ££££'s. I am almost certain mine needs resetting however there are no wheel alignment places near me (Stafford) which seem to do it.

Thanks Giles, those pictures are perfect. You're right about the picture I supplied being from an RX, I assumed they were the same part as the GS. I had visions of buying a used hybrid transmission oil pump, reconditioning it and having it ready to swap straight over should it go wrong however they look rare as hen's teeth. I think I will just chance it instead. Thanks again for the pictures.
