  1. Lexus isF, had to be Silver Spotted heading north on M90 at 08:05am passing Kinross area. I was heading south in my Tesco lorry, it put a smile on my face. Is it someone on here? Also is the exhaust standard because it sounded a bit louder? Hope you're on here mate.
  2. I was going to go this route but I would have to carry my back boxes and spanners around with me to refit them to keep wife happy, with a electric valve i can open it, wind her up, get ordered to close it and it's done without crawling under the car on the hard shoulder lol
  3. RR Racing OBD tune also about £450 I think.
  4. Yep I've had prices from £750 to £1140 for a Cat back system in stainless but for family day trips they are to loud but for myself on a fun run they are not loud enough. PPE Headers I think about £1150. x2 exhaust bypass valves £350 fitted. Bypass pipework £225 fitted.
  5. A short sound clip with just rear mufflers removed, outside a community centre so didn't rev to high. Ignore me and the wife. Sounds good through the TV. 20170403_123101.mp4
  6. I've been running about since yesterday without the rear section on and don't want to put it back on but wife has said it has to go back on. Next two months the plan will be get PPE Headers and fit them myself. Get a exhaust shop to plumb in the exhaust valves right after the headers, if there is space to there will be piping from the bypass valves to the rear of the car area with a X section fitted somewhere for exhaust pulse balance and power. The primary cats will be relocated to the exhaust right behind the valves, so that when the valves are open the exhaust gases bypass the full standard exhaust including the cats. Will be running with a RR-RACING tune. Don't know if it will work yet but it will be attempted. Has anyone done something similar or thought about this?
  7. Hi guys yesterday I removed the rear section of my exhaust to hear if I would like it and it is amazing. Listening to others on YouTube is good enough but when you actually do it to your own it sounds glorious, it really rumbles as soon as you touch the throttle but on tick over its not much louder than standard but you hear the V8 rhythm more. It's too loud for the wife and it is louder than aftermarket systems which I prefer, so I I'm keeping the standard exhaust with a couple of modifications to it one of them would be a electric valve so it can sound standard for wife then open for me. What you guys think?
  8. Welcome back, and back with the fastest colour you can get.
  9. The thing I do is use it in sport Manual mode, 2nd gear and 3rd on the twisty b roads. The car really kicks you into the seat coming out a corner about 3000 rpm then give it the welly. Any you guys use manual a lot? Fuel consumption is high when you drive it this way but the only way to really know what this car can do is sport mode on and use manual mode.
  10. There is a few of us on here served the Queen and Country, I was Signals.
  11. Past 2 days of work and I've still not got my wheels on the correct sides.
  12. Thanks for the info Craig, never heard of this place before. The weather forecast for easter holiday period is a heat wave so may take a drive over that area in the second week. Practice my quarter mile runs before I compete at Crail. And yes the isf will reach top speed easily and stop over that distance.
  13. Welcome Craig, the isf is a great car and in Silver it is, "oh my look at that". I'm over in Bathgate, West Lothian. Over the east in Fife there is Crail drag strip, not been yet but plan to. Is the runway your talking about open to all? Awe the best Mark
  14. Sounds better if you share it with your tv
  15. You can't hear it that loud through phone in the low rev range. Only proper fix is a exhaust swap or straight pipe. Sound Only lasts 3 minutes. 20170327_191435.mp4
  16. Phone won't pick up the true sound. Dawn it.
  17. Mark6pot is from the days I had my Lexus is200 sportcross. Straight 6 engine.
  18. It's no where near as loud as a exhaust job but from drivers seat it sounds good. I'll try to get some sound later when home from work.
  19. Any you guys done the air intake breather hose detachment thingy mod? Let's the intake roar from about 2500rpm. Gets heads turning at less than 30mph. The look on there faces, What the f_ _k is that? Can't wait to do headers and exhaust.
  20. True, I keep forgetting all the info I get is from the American site.
  21. I've heard that kit suffers heat soak a wee bit as it sucks air from engine compartment. If you could make up your own box for it to sit in and run a pipe to it from the inner wing then it would give a bit of power increase as it sucks on cooler air. A plan of mine in the future.
