  1. The programming has to be one only once, because it's possible to program 8 sensors in the IS. So no need for reprogramming after changing winter/summer tyres.
  2. Mark, was the installation really just plug&play?
  3. We've got snow and ice for months in Finland and I must say I'm really happy with the IS this being my first Lexus-winter. Have owned one RWD car before, a MB C220CDI which in my opinion was a bit worse in snow. And the MB had spiked tires, my current winter tires aren't. I must say people living in countries with long winters sometimes forget that the driving conditions are not the same as during the summer. These kinds of accidents don't happen too often here, but a few years back lots of idiots decided it's totally ok to drive 100+ kmh during a slight snowstorm (see video, not filmed my me though :-)). This a motorway with two lines going in each direction. (for some reason I'm not able to add a link, so it's embedded)
  4. Yes, you're correct, but my suspicion about the tyres comes from the fact that I've begun to think the vibration might be related to speed. Also what's strange is that the road surface seems to have an impact. On my way to work there's one strech of road where the asphalt changes from quite rough to very smooth and the vibration practically vanishes.
  5. I have the vibration problem as well (located in Finland) and am starting to think it might be an issue with the tyres <> wheel alignment. Has anyone with this issue had the wheel alignment checked? When I changed to winter tyres it felt as if the vibration was gone, but after a couple hundred km it started again. It feels as if the tyres would suffer from sawtooth wear.
