I bought mine off ebay,i will try find the invoice and let you know which one it is,its a doddle to change the filter with it. i just use cheap blueprint filters when i do a change

You will deffo need the filter removal tool

Airbag issue could just be very simple to sort.try move drivers seat fully back then forward again,this cured my airbag light problem!! it was just a bad connection under seat caused by seat been moved backwards n forwards over time.,once the light went out i just taped up all connections with electrical tape and problem cured,its not come back on in 2 years

Yes could well be a blown fuse

Have you had new tyres recently? i changed my tyres (all 4) and my mpg dropped by about 5mpg just with a different tyre brand on

The chip was from racechip tuning and it cost around £200 (paid in euros) ,it says on their website the chip increases power from to 231bhp and torque to480nm. Im not sure how much it has increased my cars power by but it certainly has improved its performance,its much better to drive and pulls really well now

I dont think the 220 can be remapped,the ECU cant be hackd into apparantly. i have a tuning chip fitted to mine which has really perked up the performance

I just have the KN panel filter fitted. The sprintbooster is a device that improves throttle responce,a good mod for the lexus .racechip also do a very similar product called response control

I have KN air filter fitted and i only ever use shell vpower diesel. i get around 35/36mpg round town driving and 47/48 on a motorway run.i would say the im getting maybe 1 mpg or so more now than before i fitted the chip.i also have a sprintbooster fitted,im fairly happy with my mpg and the car is certainly much more responsive now,hardly any turbo lag and 6th gear more useable

I got the pro2 .it says 231bhp on the website,not sure its taken my car to that much but its certainly made a big difference.

On the instructions that came with the chip it does show you how to alter the different settings on the chip,,mine was fine as it was but its easy to change it if needs be. The car really does drive much better since i fitted the racechip,much better power and torque

The racechip i have i just plugged it in and it worked straight away.maybe i was just lucky??

I think the racechip ive got fitted is claimed to take the car to 230bhp but im not so sure,its maybe more like 210ish

I am consiedering some wheel spacers and possibly lowering spring as my next mod as my 17inch wheels seem to look fairly small on the car,they look a bit lost in the arches

Hi levi. The sprintbooster is a device that improves pedal response,its fitted to the accelerator pedal by plugging into the existing wires/plug behind the pedal and it is in my opinion the best modification for the 220d as it helps remove the dreaded 1st into 2nd gearchange judder and makes the car feel more responsive.In reality all it really does is tells the ECU there is slightly more throttle been applied.It adds no more power to the car at all, The race chip tuning box does add more power and plugs into the cars fuel rail and alters the signals to the ECU. I hope this explains things ,other tuning chips will probably work just as well as the racechip and there are other products that are similar to the sprintbooster that will work the same no doubt.
