    This is the dash cam.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B012CMUYXQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has a USB micro port for power on the GPS base and one on the camera to allow you to connect it to a PC to download the video files. I remove the SD cards to copy any files.

You are wrong about dash cameras being 12v. Yes, they connect to a 12v supply as that is what the car provides, but you will most likely find that your accessory plug adapter that came with the camera reduces the voltage down to 5v. There is probably a sticker on it showing the power. For anyone piggybacking off a fuse, I do hope you have not just cut the cable from the cigarette plug and wired it straight in. You will eventually kill your dash cam.

I have that^^^^. It was called "Eprance" when I bought mine many years ago. Still going strong, it's moved from car to car.

Hi all. Today i removed my egr valve and cleaned it out, it was'nt as bad as i expected after 118,000 miles. Anyway, on start up after refitting, it felt like i had a misfire, but after a few seconds (probably 20 seconds), and a few kicks on the accelerator, it was running fine. Took it out for a quick blast up the local bypass (80 most of the way), it felt very good and sounded sweet. Just posting to see if there is anything i should be looking out foras this is the first time i have done this. Thanks for any replies. Chris.

A speeding fine through the letterbox.   ;)

  3. ..... a grey Lexus NX on the M62 eastbound turning off at the M1 junction at about 09:30 Sunday 26/2/2017.

You were in the wrong lane to exit the motorway. You were again in the wrong left hand lane for M1 southbound when you wanted to go right, this required you to cut me up while I was in the middle and correct lane for the M1 northbound.

You then swerved into the right hand lane when, if you knew the area, you would know this merges into one lane, my lane on the slip road onto the M1.

If you recognise yourself pleas enrol for driving lessons where they will encourage you to read the rules of the road. You are an idiot. Reading the Highway Code would probably make no difference to your idiot status.

If I had been in a white car with blue flashing lights I would have pulled you over and we would have had a good long talk which would have cost you money.

I had two two small grandchildren in the car and a wife who was not impressed by your driving.

    A.  You said - "If the body shop make a mess, you don't pay for the job and you make them put it right at their cost, not yours". That statement implies you haven't paid for the job at all.

    B. Still doesn't mean anything - the same guy who worked on their car might have left, or someone else could be working on it. They might even be having a bad day and screw up or think "ahh that'll do". There's a reason I say this and its because everyday I get told "Oh no, he doesn't have any allergies". Check the record and hey ho, allergic to penicillin

Put the shovel down and walk away from the hole.

Handbook advises a damp cloth moistened with 5% wool detergent in water. Wipe clean with another damp cloth and clean water.

Automotive leather is coated so conditioners are pointless and can make the surface sticky and attract dirt and grit.

A water based proprietary cleaner such as Dr. Leather wipes are a convenient, if slightly expensive, alternative. Also leaves a pleasant (subjective) aroma of new leather.

That was a wasted post my friend, everybody thinks they need to apply some super duper cream cleaner and conditioner every month.

I'm with you, warm water, cloth with a dash of stardrops every few months just to get rid of the grime

Some cheap leather wipes to give it a satin sheen when dry.
