It’s got a decent MOT history.

Today I flattened the Battery, well one of the grandchildren did, putting on all the interior lights.
I didn’t notice and I’m waiting for the RAC, ten minutes for them to answer the phone and 90 minute expected wait.
My Battery charger has been borrowed by one of my kids:(
Wait for the questionnaire about the service. AA next year I think.

Denso from ECP everyday of the week, get a spare pair when they're on offer.
They have the correct plastic shrouding.

Just bought one for the wife's significant birthday. Bought it through DVLA, couldn't have been any easier, all done electronically.
The only fly in the ointment was Halfords when it came to make up the plates, what a set of plonkers, 45 minutes to make two plates.

Duct tape over the sensor.

My Lexus was a smokers car, the ashtray had remnants of a cigar in it. The smell was well disguised by “Car People” with a strong citrus smell.
It was easily sorted by cleaning every surface with Febreze, or Morrison’s equivalent, and several “Poundland” Neutradol gel containers used one at a time in the cup holder.
I think I had it sorted in a week but used the Neutradol for a few months.
Not a sniff since.

I bought two of the Faraday bags over a year ago, only about £3 each. They’re very good.
I don’t know where they are now, I think someone’s nicked them.

Great tip.

I’m with you on the seat alteration.
I don’t have memory seats so got in my car after having two new tyres fitted.
Didn’t think much about it because the seat was not too far out of kilter but several miles down the road my leg went to sleep.
The mechanic had raised the seat which obviously pressed on a nerve in my leg. I could hardly walk when I got out of the car.

You can’t really be serious about using “Servicestop”?

Nice to look back on a positive ownership.

Would the left hand drive version be different to the RHD one?
-
Yes it has an alarm. 🙂
-
They definitely look ropey.

You’re very welcome Ian. 😁

It works by proximity of the key to the relevant door/boot.
I would have kept this a secret.

I don’t very often have to rely on my local Indy for help, but I have my limits and they’re great.
On the other hand I’ve taken cars back that were in warranty with noise issues, I’ve never ever been able to convince a mechanic that a particular noise was not part of the driving experience.

Same as humans then.
Oh, we’re much worse, and don’t learn from our mistakes. AI does.

It does make me wonder if self driving cars won't work in the rain.... which won't be much use in the UK.
They don’t seem to work in the sun, they injure and kill people in the US of A.

Reading the manual? there’s a novel thought. 😉
