Hi Andy and welcome. 18" wheels were an option I believe, and as James says, will likely affect the ride comfort. I've had my 2008 IS250 SE-L since last November with no issues other than a siezed front caliper which the supplying dealer sorted. It's on 72k now and no hint of anything else. I purchased a Lexus extended warranty in January. £800 for 2 years cover, ask your local dealer if it's still available at that price. Easy to buy as they do £80 a month for 10 months. Dealer will need to inspect the vehicle. Best car I've ever had (and I've had a few !). Enjoy yours if you buy it. Let us know and post some more pics.

Have you used LED replacement bulbs ? It's my understanding that they require the correct polarity of connection. Try turning the bulb around in its socket. Worth a go !

Both my mirrors dipped in reverse when I got mine in November last year. The driver's mirror still does every time. The passenger mirror occasionally dips fully, but mostly just dips part way. I have the Lexus warranty so I'm hoping this can be attended to when I take it for a service later in the year.

Had my IS since November last year and purchased the Lexus extended warranty for 24 months in January. Not had cause to claim as yet. In fact, if I don't make a claim during the 2 years, then I'll be very happy. Peace of mind. I considered the RAC warranty at half the Lexus £800 cost, but struggled to work out from the policy document if anything was covered ? As I say, I've yet to test the Lexus warranty, but it does seem very comprehensive. I'm likely to move my IS on next July and it will still have six months transferrable warranty. Up against a similar spec/mileage car, bet I sell mine first....and at a premium !!

In the HiFi world, rotted surrounds of old loudspeaker cones are often repaired with new foam/rubber. Have a word with Wilmslow Audio, they may be able to help restore your original unit.

I used my vehicle sat nav once. Took me ages to work out how to use it ! I agree with Colin, get a smart phone app. I use Sygic, £18 for ever after a one month free trial. I cannot fault it.

Think you'll find it's condensation on the air-con condenser dripping on to the ground. Nothing to worry about if that's the case.

Thank you for your replies. I'm off tomorrow so will have a look underneath. The air-con is working fine, so if the seat cooling comes via that fuse, it's something else ?

On my way home from work tonight I noticed that my seat cooling didn't work. The passenger seat was working fine, so unlikely to be a fuse for that function. What is the most likely cause for me to investigate ? Thank you.

Just been out to check my IS250. It has the + and - on the arm. Didn't know it was there !! Thanks Gliderpilot, it has infuriated me on occasions when I've had to manually flick the wipers. Isn't it unreal that we've become accustomed to automation !!
