  1. Found it fascinating and informative. Thanks for posting.
  2. Nothing worse than a stuck up aerial....it needs to come down to earth a bit....can't stand snobbishness....especially from an aerial
  3. No rattles on mine ! The part that does rattle is the roof stowage "hammock" in the boot. It's a plastic/vinyl fabric affair which lies horizontal (roof stowed) or vertical (max bootspace). It locates in both positions with plastic protrusions that locate into sockets. It's a £2.50 fix to stop it rattling.....wedge it in place with these....worked for me http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Window-Wedge-White-Rubber-x-4-/122299417644
  4. Yes, I had an IS250C convertible up until a couple of months ago when I p/x'd it for my RX.
  5. It's good for treating rubber......inside and out
  6. Good suggestion......same as mine.
  7. Fully loaded Saab 9-5 Aero. Had 4 Saabs before I went to Lexus, wouldn't have moved if Saabs still going. Not as refined as the Lexus, but couldn't fault the Saabs I had.
  8. This should do the trick : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wurth-Gummi-Pflege-Stick-Rubber-Door-Seal-Restorer-75ml-/261978299882?hash=item3cff1f9dea:g:aJwAAOSwjVVVsOSf I used it myself on the roof seals on an IS250C convertible, as well as all the door seals, kept everything supple.
  9. Just get something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11PC-Precision-Small-Jewelers-Screwdriver-Set-Flat-Philips-Magnet-/201599581240?hash=item2ef0457c38:g:ItMAAOSwmtJXVoXL Hardly likely to break the bank
  10. Yes, I like the shot too. Suggests some accurate panning in order to get the car in focus and the background blurred. I would have expected the wheel spokes to be more blurred as they're moving faster than you panning ? Nice shot all the same.
  11. I believe the front and rear underrun protectors were an optional "style kit" specified when ordering new. They're not particularly strong if you were to hit anything and as Geoff says they're pricey to retro fit.
  12. Mine already had this when I bought the vehicle just a few weeks ago. Is this what you're referring to ? I didn't fit it, but it looks very practical to avoid scuffs.
  13. Looks like I got it right
  14. I'm not sure Graham, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that the offside lens is for the rear fog lamp. It shines red, despite the clear lens. Maybe I'm wrong, just something from back of my mind. I left the other crap there and just reported this pearl of wisdom
  15. You must have too much time on your hands if you've read the handbook.....especially the sat-nav one
  16. Great photo.....well panned.
  17. Mounting plate looks ok to me. Can't comment on the suitability of the eBay mirror glass though.
  18. Looks beautiful Rob.....you'll never drive a manual again . Welcome !
  19. Must have a dodgy "L" too ! Only works half the time ?
  20. Just did my internal lights. Did you view the link ?
  21. Up to now I've just replaced internal lights with LEDs. Apologies if this has been listed here before......this is NOT my next stage of lighting modification http://www.autoblog.com/2016/12/06/lexus-lit-is-dua-lipa-music-video/
  22. Nice problem to have. 25 sales per month would be a far more difficult problem to deal with. Lovely to have a successful, in demand product.
  23. I have wondered............how do you replace the rear wiper ?
  24. Lovely car Michael. Mentioned this before on here, I too found nothing special in the ML sound system.
