The car won't allow you to lock the car with the keys inside. Tried to lock mine with the little door sensor and it wouldn't have it because my wife's set of keys were inside.
Mine doesn't auto lock after being in it. Like yours, it does auto lock if unlocked but you don't enter the vehicle. Happy with this set up. Unsure if it can be changed.
A mystery why they don't use the official name on the touch up paint ??
My touch up was sourced in the UK...clearly states Garnet Red.......and it is a perfect match
Your Sportcross looks fantastic Ian.
Your new RX looks fantastic too...had to say that...it's identical to mine .
Only had mine since March and really loving it. It came with Dunlops on the front and Pirellis on the back. I'll change all four before winter, so I'll watch the advice on this thread with interest.
Enjoy your new motor.
Rebecca's planning it around her parents' pub "The Bunch of Carrots" in Hereford. I'm sure they'll serve Guinness. If they don't do cake, I'll ask Mrs Ledzep to bake one for you.
A forum meet would be good. You going to organise one ?
I'm fortunate enough to have 180 degree views over the Black Mountains, Carreg Cennen and the Brecon Beacons.
It would be lovely to meet up........but Mrs Ledzep might have something to say on the matter
We are very fortunate to live in a beautiful part of the country.
Yes Rebecca. I do that route from Llandeilo up to Chester to visit my parents. Was a bit more fun in the IS250 and IS250C, The RX doesn't go round the corners quite as well, but still an exhilarating drive.
A couple of years ago I had the identical vehicle to you Noo bie, but a 2008. I was needing the plugs at the same time as the fuel recall too. It is my understanding that a similar dismantling of the top part of the engine is required for both jobs. I spoke with the service manager at Lexus Cardiff and he agreed to do the plugs at the same time. Didn't charge me for fitting and discounted the price of the plugs to around £90 IIRC.
Can't comment on the different filters Shaun. When you fit the cabin filter in the glovebox, make sure the aircon is in recirculate mode......otherwise you'll break it !!
The parking sensors on my 3RX are permanently on, forward or reverse. I would expect you to be able to achieve this in the 4RX too. Sorry, don't know how to do it.
Try www.breakeryard.com, they found me a few bits when I ran Saabs. As I understand it, they are an outfit coordinating many breakers, so one request for a part is fed to many breakers. Good luck, let us know how you get on .
There are many floor mat suppliers on eBay and Amazon. I'm sure most of them will do red for the IS300h and in various qualities too. I guess they're not allowed to use the Lexus logo.
