mines doing this too, discs and pads were changed 20k ago though

i always use my hand brake as its a false economy not to, same with the aircon 

bare in mind the mk4 hasn't got HT leads

i had to paint the rear subframe on mine as it had surface corrosion 

shame the rear bed is useless 

looks really good to me, tempted to get mine done if i move house as it will become a daily driver, how much was the conversion if you dont mind me asking. 

£108 for both sides? thats really cheap! mine need doing i think, it would be worth doing the 300 mile round trip for that price, plus parts of course. 

Is it worth getting this done, as my car has only done less than 5k a year, its on 100k at the moment, and i drive mostly round town. 

the pricing of the ls400 is all over the place, i just had a look on autotrader

confirms what i thought.  Decided to have car 'Mapped' for efficiency, this should solve 'Pinking' and improve fuel economy..  

do you have a stand alone ecu then? 

those lambda readings look on the high side or i could be wrong

i use tesco momentum 99, feels a lot more responsive than normal 95 

I get around 16.8 mpg average, thats all round town doing around 3-4 mile trips 

hmmmmm not convinced thats a good idea

As usual with big barges like these, it's the slowing down and speeding back up that cripples economy. Once the LS400 is cruising, it's no worse than the MB 280E I used to have.

yes the speeding up is the worse, as even on light throttle mine drops into single figures 

I have a varta on mine too
