  1. The big service is at 60k. Just the normal major at 80k.
  2. No worries Jon. Good luck with whatever you've decided to go for! 🙂
  3. RC-F and GS-F are both very good cars but I'd be more tempted by the GS-F as it is better suited for my needs. The GS-F needs to drop in value a little more though!
  4. @Flytvr @Warrington guy @Big Rat It's from JP Exhausts in Macclesfield. Can't fault their work and seemed to know exactly what they're doing. It's from the second cats back (resonator deleted) and I asked for it loud and that's exactly what I got. I also asked for no x-pipe for the V8 burble. Now for the reason I went for somewhere reasonably local rather than taking it to H&S: If it sounded exactly like the video I'd be happy but it is way louder than it sounds in the video, (I didn't think it could be this loud whilst retaining the secondary cats) so I'm contemplating having an x-pipe fitted but I know this will reduce the burble. It burbles a little more and is louder all the time but it only sounds significantly different under load. Driving at steady speed is ok. Mine isn't a daily driver but I think if it was a daily driver I'd definitely have an x-pipe fitted as it does drone above a certain rpm or when accelerating. I can't really hear the intake flap open above 3700 rpm anymore so thinking about an intake at some point very soon as well as I'm missing the intake noise already.
  5. Congrats and welcome, lovely colour!
  6. After nearly three years of ISF ownership I have finally had an exhaust fitted :) I'm in the process of uploading some videos to Youtube but unless you have decent speakers/headphones then the sound in the videos don't really do it any justice. I'll put the links to the videos up shortly once uploaded. Thanks to Pete, Stu and Gib for their advice during my quest for the exhaust!
  7. Enjoy guys and get home safely. 😀 I would have liked to come along too but with the car booked in for the exhaust this week and going on holiday next week I couldn't get away this weekend.
  8. I'd be interested to hear how you get on. I first came across this last year but there was very limited information out there with it being so new at the time. Good luck and do report back to us.
  9. Great news 😀 on the water pump. Try and get some video/dashcam footage on your next run if you can please. I use the Shell V-Power Nitro (or whatever it's called nowadays) 99 RON petrol 95% of the time and Costco super unleaded (which seems to be a decent fuel) when I'm passing/visiting for the remainder. Is the previous owner but one based in Stockport as that's the chap I was thinking of in my previous post? Never met him but he always had several Lexus vehicles at any given time so clearly a Lexus enthusiast.
  10. Thanks for posting this Mark, it sounds great.
  11. Congrats Oscar, it's a very clean car - The owner before the last (if that makes sense) of this car lived not far from me and I recall it was sold by Lexus Manchester about a year ago roughly when he sold it or part exchanged it. It had a standard exhaust back then so the last owner must have replaced the exhaust.
  12. Welcome back, it looks lovely - hope BigRat doesn't see that compliment for a silver one! ;)
  13. Intermediate is next but the servicing still doesn't appear correct to me. 2014 should have been the 60k (or 6 year service) including spark plugs and 2015 the 70k and so on. It looks like the 40k service has been repeated because the 60k is the big one with plugs but it's time or mileage (10k or 1 year intervals - whichever comes first) not just mileage. Probably won't make much difference though - it's a Lexus after all!
  14. Did you manage to get a clip of the exhaust Mark? With regards to Lexus warranty, only the modified parts i.e. exhaust will no longer be covered, everything else still will be covered - other than any issues they can directly attribute to having a non standard exhaust I would guess. I'm sure Stu checked this and posted the info on here although it was when he still owned his F so a good while ago. I'm in the middle of making enquiries regarding an exhaust - just need to find somewhere reputable and reasonably local. I'd have an H&S system in a heartbeat but the logistics are just too difficult at the moment with their distance from me even though Ian has said he can probably fit it in a day.
  15. I'd be considering some version of the JLR supercharged V8 too. Colleague at work has the XKR and even with the standard exhaust it pops and burbles nicely. I heard your brother's XFR albeit briefly and even with a limited amount of exhaust fettling it sounded epic! I'm planning on having a new exhaust fitted in the next couple of months.
  16. There have been several members on here who have fitted them without any issues. I have bought some for the future but not needed to have them fitted yet. The part numbers of the delivered pads match Brembo's website.
  17. Congrats. I saw Gib's car just before he traded it in. It's in great condition and the exhaust is superb. Enjoy.
  18. Congrats on the new F, it's a lovely rare colour.
  19. Congrats on the new purchase. Some nice cars in the background too!
  20. Yes, that was me! Thought I had missed seeing another ISF on the road then.
