  1. I have a late 2011 with the large rev counter, revised suspension, DRL’s, LSD, sport button on blue panel steering wheel, full postcode sat nav etc. Also saw similar car registered in 04/2011 and another member confirmed his was an earlier 2011 when this came up previously. 2010 model with Mechanical LSD has blue panel steering wheel with original equally sized rev counter/speedo. There seems to be some overlap probably depending on when they were registered. I was also originally after the blue/ black leather, but they are very rare as pointed out above. Mostly tend to come up with the white leather. Good luck with the search though they are a great car👍🏻
  2. Congratulations Mark & let us know your impressions when you have lived with it a while compared with the ISF 👍🏻 I’m sure the sadness at parting with the IS will probably short lived 😉
  3. Thanks for posting this as never seen it before. Most complete technical run down I’ve seen - brilliant👍🏻
  4. Couldn’t agree more Mark. I would also add that the ISF was quick enough around Silverstone to come second to an M3 & ahead of a C63 who were only separated by less than 2.5 seconds in total if I recall (on around a 2 minute lap) and both the German cars had mechanical LSD’s. The F would probably have been even closer to the M3 had it have been fitted with one at the time . The ISF Ring taxi is also about 30 seconds quicker than an M5 Ring taxi - to me that’s a seriously quick car by any standards & how much more can you actually ever use anyway!! I went back to MB World recently & spent an hour in a 600hp CLS AMG which is a mighty impressive car but the difference is marginal I suspect in most situation. I’m perfectly happy with the F which has more than enough for me. Still each to his own👍🏻
  5. Definitely worth it & added relatively little to the premium👍🏻
  6. I originally had the car insured with Lexus insurance, mainly because they were one of the few to not require a tracker at the time and so there would be no quibling over Lexus doing any repairs. I had also been provide with a 3 year gap insurance when I bought the car as part of the deal. As mentioned above re the pitifull insurance value payed on a stolen ISF, I tried to extend my gap insurance when it finshed earlier this year, which apparently you can't do unless its within 6 months of the cars purchase. So as a result I am now also with Adrian Flux, who were cheaper even with an agreed valuation policy. I would give GAP or an a agreed valuation policy serious consideration, because you certainly won't be able to replace the car with the payout from a standard policy.
  7. Just get yourself a drive in one a decide from there, because we are all biased any way. 😉 If you like you won’t find another car of this type which doesn’t come with issues. They are a great car so good luck with the search
  8. Because I’m OCD about where I park etc a friends wife said the F is clearly a bit of a Diva. This remindied her of “Alexus” Carrinton in her white dress with shoulder pads etc from Dynasty. My whole bloody family now refer to my car as Joan or Joanie - just brilliant!! 😉
  9. Thanks for the info & posting the vids - H & S does sound good!!
  10. Hi Josh, following on from what Paul said above. All I would add is buy based on condition, as mileage doesn't seem to be an issue. They do not seem to be as fragile as the German equivalents!! The main things is to make sure it has been looked after and serviced properly at the correct intervals etc. I would personally only buy one with a full Lexus history to cover the above and also with resale in mind. Good luck with the hunt.
  11. Great videos & you weren't hanging around!!
  12. When my car went in for a service a few weeks back, I asked about the air bag replacement damage issues & was told that they would access it via the glove box to avoid damaging the dash. Will still be waiting a while before I get it done to make sure I'm not the 1st & will take be taking pictures etc as usual.
  13. Wow that's disappointing!! Have had discs from them before and they have always been fine. Let's hope it's just a one off and a replacement set are to the expected standard.
  14. Won't they just love it 😉😆
  15. 100% stock - for now 😉
  16. Lol 😂 😂 😂 The handcuffs are still not to the required standard though @Big Rat & I'm disappointed by the lack of dirt, tools & rubble etc - it not like any Builder's van I've ever seen!! 😉 @Flytvr Dav really enjoyed scanning the picture on my train journey home - reminded me of those spot the difference sketches in comics I did when I was a kid. It was good fun so thanks for taking the time to do it.
  17. I'm very worried now & those hand cuffs are not even fury!! 😉😆
  18. I knew I should be worried😆😉
  19. Hi Dav, Had a go & PM'd you - better late than never!! 😉 I'm bit concerned about the prize though 😆
  20. Glad to hear it Matt & we are fine thanks. No harm in a good ribbing.👍🏻😆 If I was sure the H&S (with or without the x pipe) sounds as good as yours in the flesh I would have done it by now.😉 All the best David
  21. Hi Matt hope you & yours are well. I know it's got to be done, resistance is futile & all that. Shame I've gone & changed our other car last month - bugger 😉 Hoping to get round to it sooner rather than later. David
  22. @kieron1977 Wow does sound bloody good!! Thanks for posting the videos - want one now!!
  23. I think he might 😉 The banter between u all does make me chuckle. 😆
  24. Resistance is futile just give in 😳😉
  25. Thanks Kieron thats really helpful. Was only interested in the x pipe as I thought it helped prevent any droning. My interest in changing the exhaust is purely for the sound. I'm also hoping I will be able to get it done sooner rather than later
