I had a cat loc fitted to mine on Friday at Lexus Teeside at cost of £250 had to register my code on the website and I have two stickers on either side of the drivers and passenger window. I just wanted to make sure I made it as difficult as possible and also protect my car as much as I can. Could be a waste of money only time will tell.

Well I’m loving my CT200h F sport with protection pack and convenience pack which has the leather seats and upgraded sat nav. have done 900 miles so far in the two weeks I have had it. Sits at 70 no bother on the motor way and can pass cars fine when needed, while in town it’s so quiet and mixture of both motorway and town driving I’m getting 53MPG without trying. so much better than the my IS220d, only things I miss from it are the cooled seats and ML system however the sounds system is still decent in my CT.

Can agree with that, filled up my second tank this time from empty and was 34 litres and cost £43 ish and showed I had a range of 430 miles. Mind I did 50 miles and the first square disappeared.

I have the issue where my phone connects as hotspot however when I get out the car and then back in the car doesn’t connect to my phone again automatically as I set it up to auto connect

Hi all, has anyone removed the foam storage area and the put the floor back over the top of the spare tyre for make the CT boot deeper?
-
Thanks for this as I have just got my CT200H and was wondering how much fuel per square was. Not a fan of a digital gauge!
-
Ok I will keep an eye on this then and see what it does. I cant complain the car has nearly all the packs added minus the sun roof and sound system, only thing that I miss is the air cooled seats from my IS220D but I have gained so much more.

Update well I have done 400 miles since collection on Saturday and I am really impressed on the build of the car and how it drives both round London where I picked it up to on the motorway for 5 hours up north! Was getting 59.5 MPG so can’t complain as it was better than the IS220d I traded in. waiting now for the cat loc to be fitted in the next week or so.
-
That’s good to know that the CT runs well with those miles on it. can’t wait to pick it up Saturday as I couldn’t get it last weekend.
-
Thanks look forward to putting miles on it as it’s got just shy of 7k for just turned 2 years old

Hi all, does anyone know where I can get the high and low caps that go on the air con ends? regards Joel
-
Hi all, so I had my aircon re gassed by a aircon specialist and even though the car has taken on the correct amount no cold air is blowing out. when I turn on the ac I can’t hear then any engagement like it us too before. Also my engine fans have stopped working could they both be related. The specialist will be back out Monday to use some software that Will isolate the aircon sides of things I was just wondering has anyone had similar issue? could it be as simple as a fuse? the compressor is new as it was replaced by Lexus Teeside less than a year ago. regards Joel

Thats correct, the part itself has a guarantee from the place i got it from so i am happy its covered by them, and YES Lexus Teeside advised me that its not covered by them.
-
No harm in asking I suppose, I just know Teeside Lexus were really helpful much better than Newcastle Lexus dealer and was worth the extra miles going to Teesside
-
In total the cost was just shy of £650 so was a couple hours labour
-
I was really surprised as at first they quoted me £1,200 for the part and fitting. When i said i can get the same part for cheaper they were happy to fit and just charge me labour, the service guys said they are happy to do this as it keeps there guys busy and they still get business.
-
Hi all, to give an update Lexus Teeside fitted the part for me and advised it’s the same one that they use just cost cheaper. Lexus Teeside actually called me a few days after fitting it and asked where I got the compressor from as they had another customer needing a compressor for a LS and wanted to save the customer some money.

Why would getting right hand drive covers make a difference the wing mirrors are all the same if LHD or RHD? -
Hi all, Well over the weekend my dash board lit up like with the engine management, traction control and check VSC! Car goes into limp mode. My car has 120k and has been brilliant since I have owned it. Made a call to terraclean and found a technician who came out within a few hours. Checked my EGR valve and cleaned it, then I took it out for a drive with the technician who had his tablet connected to car but sadly when I went to give it some the car went into limp mode again. back to the house and the technician gets the stuff out to put through the DPF filter. After about 40 minutes we go for another drive this time steady and he sets of the regen on the car while watching the temps. Car does what it’s supposed to do and I’m back up and running. I have since 140 mile and all is well. Cost £200
